I have texture issues - so this macaroni and cheese is my favorite due to the low "slime" factor! It's more like macaroni and cheese souffle since it has eggs. I adapted this from a church cookbook recipe my mom used to have - but it was very labor intensive. This way works fine for me! I like it because it's quick to throw together and put in the oven. I usually throw in a green bean casserole with it. If you want to try a new version of an old classic - give this a try!
These are the cutest treat for kids! They look like bears taking a bubble bath! They are delicious and not too messy - so they are easy to take to school/parties. (I came up with the idea after getting tired of taking cupcakes to school and having to deal with the mess!) They are also small enough for young children. Very easy to make when you use refridgerated cookie dough... My son entered these into a dessert contest when he was 5 years old and he won! Too cute!!
This is absolutely my favorite soup! It's rich and thick and comforting - and yet it's healthy!! I adapted this recipe from Kraft by using a different cheese and less water. This soup is delicious! Enjoy!
This cheese manicotti recipe is delicious! The red pepper sauce gives it a nice flavor. I have never made homemade sauce before - but this is wonderful and super easy! My picky kids will eat this and don't notice the broccoli slaw in the manicotti - yay! Vegetarian and filling. Try it!
I realize this isn't technically a recipe - but it does include food! It's an angel made using a Hershey's kiss. Very cute. These are fun for the tree, add to a package, or just leave one someones desk. I had a hard time finding the directions to make these...so I decided to post it here for everyone. I also wouldn't give these to children since it contains a straight pin. Just a decoration! Happy Holidays!
These are SO delicious!! Kids like them because they are colorful and have M&M candies! You can make these without nuts - but if you're not allergic - try them with nuts first... the salt with the sweet is amazing! This recipe is for individual cakes using a muffin pan, but you can also make these as bars in a 9x13 pan - just cook a little longer (about 18 minutes). Enjoy!
Soooo easy....soooo yummy! I love making a batch of these and then keep any leftovers in the freezer. They re-heat well and make a super fast breakfast for the kids! Can't beat it! And mix it up - use whatever favorite ingredients you have on hand. Yum!
Yum!!! Fluffy easy pie! What more could you want? I usually make this with lemonade concentrate, but you could use ANY concentrate...limeade... orange juice...fruit punch... I want to try Pina Colada next! It's so quick and easy. Just delicious, yet light. My kind of dessert!
This is an easy recipe that tastes great and sounds a little fancy. Our whole family gives this one a "thumbs up". I had Champagne Chicken at a restaurant and had tried to re-create it at home (with champagne, artichokes and grapes) - but I revised it so my little ones would eat it. Enjoy!
This is a quick and easy cake! Great for when you have company coming over for the holidays. Easy for people like me who aren't great at cake decorating! You can use any flavor for the cake, but I usually make chocolate. You can also make these using mini-bundt pans for individual treats. Enjoy!
Most people make these in tomato soup. I had started making it one day before I realized I didn't have any tomato soup - so I tried it with Campbells Cream of Celery soup... it was wonderful! You can also use Cream of Mushroom soup. Makes it creamy and yummy. I won't go back to tomato sauce... I also stir in a can of green beans at the end of cooking...it's like meatballs AND green bean casserole. Yum.
These cookies are cute and easy! Kids love them! Fun to make! I used the refrigerated cookie dough - but you could even buy pre-made sugar cookies and decorate them... We took these to my kids classes for their pre-Thanksgiving party and they were a huge hit!
It's probably easiest to just look at the picture to make these rather than follow my directions - but good luck! Enjoy!
