    These are very tasty and lend themselves to be played around with. I have done them as per the recipe but added garlic salt and Tabasco, also left out the parsley and cheese and put in fresh chopped coriander and had with chili jam. Play around with them please. You may even get the kids to eat veggies and serve them with tomato ketchup. They are a Donna Hay recipe.

    This is just so simple and easy to do but is full of flavour as well. I did use pine nuts when I made this and they worked out quite well. I would suggest a good robust blue for this or Gorgonzola.

    Tasty dish to be had on its own or a smaller serve as a side with a grill. This recipe can be halved quite successfully and I have made it with creamy blue Camembert. If the fennel is not baby would suggest blanching it for a while first.

    These are very tasty, you can substitute ground(minced) chicken for the pork and use any sauce you want. Make them as big or small as you want. Time does not take into account the 1 hour in the fridge.

    Based on a recipe from the Spirit House Cook Book. Done with small lettuce leaves makes a great appetiser for a party. This is usually part of a Thai meal. From The lettuce down, these are the garnishes, not to be put and mixed with the mince.

    This is something I do quite often when tomatoes are cheap. It goes great with grilled fish, or grilled meat. Not bad on toast either. These measurements are a guess, have never measured anything for this.

    In an answer to a query, I have not made this. The recipe belongs to Kanom Maw Geang and came from a cooking course. I think it would be sweet and firm by having the moong beans in it. Unfortunately I missed this lesson so did not taste. Maybe leave off the shallots. Servings are a guess.

    I haven't made this, it comes from The Best from South Caroliner Cookbook, which I received in a swap. I don't even have a crock pot, but this does look really good and I know some of you are always looking for crock pot recipes. Leftovers will freeze. Good with coleslaw and corn on the cob.
