This is the BEST recipe I have ever found using fresh asparagus. I think I could eat this salad everyday for the rest of my life. I discovered this exceptional recipe on foodnetwork, originally from Emeril Lagasse. I have added Blue Cheese crumbles to the finished salad because I think it sends this salad over the top. I have made this recipe several times now. Every time I make it I enjoy it more and more. This salad will make an ordinary meal fabulous!! If you enjoy asparagus as much as I do, I think you will enjoy this recipe!

    Recipe #501904

3 ingredients! I discovered this incredible alternative to dairy ice cream from domesticfits.com. So simple to put together and freeze quickly in an ice cream maker. You will not miss the eggs or cream. This recipe is wonderfully creamy and full of chocolate flavor.

    Recipe #485302

Nothing can whisk me away faster to a tropical isle than the combination of pineapple and coconut. One sip and I am transported to turquoise seas and cloudless aqua skies, lying on a hammock under shady palm trees with just a hint of a tropical breeze. This wonderful cocktail recipe originally came from bon appetit. Containing a few changes to make it a bit easier, I have eliminated 2 coconuts and making simple syrup. Coconut water is easy to find in your grocery store. The blue agave nectar is used in exact amounts to sub for the simple syrup. I hope you will enjoy this cocktail. Cheers

    Recipe #483221

This is a wonderful dish that serves well as a main dish, or could easily be served as a side. Full of flavors of the southwest and deliciously eaten using flour or corn tortillas, if desired. I discovered this recipe in Vegan Cooking for Carnivores by Roberto Martin.

If you enjoy the corn salsa served at Chipotle's Restaurant, you are going to love this recipe. Serve this salsa with your Mexican dishes, or as an accompaniment to Tortilla Chips. You can use fresh corn cut off the cob, or frozen sweet corn, defrosted and drained well. I discovered this recipe at How Sweet It Is.

    Recipe #481140

This is the recipe Chef Roberto Martin developed for Ellen Degeneres. Ellen being a native of New Orleans has always loved Red Beans and Rice. When she became a vegan it was quite an accomplishment for Roberto to develop this outstanding vegan alternative for the traditional recipe. He suggests using organic beans, broth made from "Better Than Bouillon" Vegetable Base and "Field Roast" Apple, and "Field Roast" Italian Sausage. I have made this recipe several times now and it is always outstanding. You will not miss the meat.....or the fat. Delicious, made healthy? You bet!

    Recipe #480894

I found the secret to making amazing hummus from Chef Roberto Martin in his cookbook vegan Cooking For Carnivores. Roberto states that, " The trick to making amazing hummus is water and air." In this recipe you will allow your ingredients to run in the food processor for 6-7 minutes, creating a light and fluffy final product. We love this recipe and hope you will, too.

    Recipe #480034

A great change of pace from your regular hummus. Love the toasted garlic flavor. This is a very easy recipe to serve with your favorite tortilla chips, crackers, veggies or pita.

    Recipe #479127

I thought I had tasted great hummus, until I discovered avocado hummus. A long standing avocado lover from way back, I now have a new way of eating this tasty little green fruit. This recipe has been adapted from acozykitchen.com.

    Recipe #478814

This is a healthy and satisfying soup using vegetable broth and fresh spinach. I use a refrigerated asparagus, gruyere cheese filled ravioli when making this recipe. However any tortellini or ravioli that you prefer will do.

    Recipe #478159

I have found this to be an excellent way to serve whole wheat pasta. Of course you could use regular pasta if you prefer. Using cherry or grape tomatoes add a lot of flavor to this simple recipe. Throwing it together takes only minutes and makes a great weekday meal! Serve either as a hot meal or cold as a salad.

    Recipe #478060

Be Not Afraid! Using whole wheat is not only healthy, it can taste good, too! I used Coconut milk in this recipe not only to add flavor, but add nutrition as well. Coconut milk provides 50% more calcium than cow's milk and has less calories (look in your grocer's dairy case for coconut milk). The combination of the coconut milk and banana, you will feel like you made a trip to the tropics for breakfast! Use real maple syrup for the best results. I hope you will enjoy this recipe!

    Recipe #477940

This is a delicious variation of hummus that we enjoy on top of multi-grain tortilla chips. Served with a variety of vegetables or other crackers would work as well. This recipe is adapted from My Recipes.

I love this simple and fresh recipe. You can use canned diced tomatoes, but I suggest using your fresh garden tomatoes to send your flavor sensations over the top!

    Recipe #463049

Care to add another treat to those hostess trays? I discovered this recipe In Virginia Living Magazine. Serving size is approximate depending on the size toffee pieces you desire. Cook time reflects cooling time.

    Recipe #462751

This is a very simple recipe that will be ready in the time it takes to cool! ...If you can wait that long : ) I discovered this in Virginia Living Magazine. Cook time reflects time to cool.

    Recipe #462750

This is a fabulous recipe to help use some of those beautifully ripe tomatoes in your garden. If you use extra large tomatoes you may want to add in a little more (sausage, bread and/or cheese) when making the filling. Using a homegrown tomato with a lot of flavor just makes this recipe. I like to use large cupcake baking cup liners to help hold the tomato upright on the pan. I hope you will enjoy this recipe as much as we have!

    Recipe #462748

Have you ever wondered what to do with all those left over pancakes? Well, how about using them for lunch? This would easily be done with a thinner and slightly larger pancake. Roll them up with: your favorite preserves, peanut butter & jelly, or even peanut butter & sliced bananas! There you have a super lunch on a PanCrepe! Amounts are estimate to the size of the pancake you are using.

Who says you have to add dairy to make a smoothie? Make this delicious ready to go smoothie in a flash using all fresh fruit! The blackberries give this smoothie its delicious color, the bananas make it thick and rich!

I made this recipe from Southern Living for Christmas and everyone just loved it! The recipe makes two 9 inch cheesecakes so it feeds a lot of people. This three layered cheesecake has a rich brownie bottom layer with a center layer of cream cheese and a decadently rich chocolate glaze covering the top. The recipe is easily halved. The Chocolate Glaze top layer is intended to divide between the two cheesecakes. However, I used one full recipe to top one cheesecake. Allow 8 hours chilling time. This cheesecake is absolutely delicious and I am sure you will enjoy it, too!
