This is my adopted recipe as of Feb 2005. I made this yesterday and doubled the recipe for DH and I. It was very moist and tasty. It made a great tasting hamburger. It would also be good with potatoes and a vegetable. I didn't use the microwave, I just fried it up.
This is from the Kraft "What's Cooking" magazine. I am going to try this soon as it sounds delicious! Recipe can be easily doubled to accommodate more guests. Since I posted this recipe I have made it and found it very good.
This is my adopted recipe. This is delicious with the subtle taste of orange. I doubled the recipe but must admit I didn't measure anything. I sliced the carrots in my new Cuisinart, the first time I've used the slicer on it.
Low fat, no cholesterol pancakes made with Fleischmanns Egg Beaters, which is a whole egg substitute. I made these yesterday and they were very good. My DH has to lower his Cholesterol so I am always looking for no fat recipes.
This my adopted recipe. Very good, I didn't have swiss cheese so I used cheddar. I think I used about 1/2 cup. The cheese sauce turned out good, it's so fast doing everything in the microwave. The prep and cooking times are approximate.
I was looking for healthy low fat egg free recipes for cookies and found these on a Fitness web site. They don't taste like your usual cookie but there pretty good for something that has no fat and no cholesterol. I used Spenda instead of white sugar as the reviewer sungested.
Bright red and green cherries lend these fruitcake-like cookies a holiday disposition. A thin drizzle of chocolate makes them even sweeter. This recipe is from Meals.com These look great on a tray of Christmas goodies.
This is from recipegoldmine.com. I was looking for Nutella recipes and no one has posted this one. I made a variation of this with walnuts instead of hazelnuts and didn't roll in nuts just the confecioners sugar. They turned out great but I did find I had to bake them about 15 minutes to get the middle done and to crackle on top. I didn't count my cookies so maybe I made them too big. I think you could make them with any nuts you have on hand, the Nutella flavour is still there.UPDATE..In the picture I made them with hazelnuts but I didn't notice any difference in taste than when I made them with walnuts. Walnuts I get free and hazelnuts are so expensive to buy.
From Company's Coming cookbook.I made this for a Peach pie I made and it turned out great, just like shorthbread, and by coating the shell with egg yolk before baking stops the filling from soaking in,
