Found this recipe in a newspaper. Changed a few things, made it and it was a hit. You may want to change the heat in this dip by using mild or hot taco sauce or adding or omitting the green chiles.

    Recipe #433699

This recipe calls for Epicure products and is one of their recipies. I made it for the first time for a Grad BBQ and my sister thought it was very daring to try something that has not been tested first. It was a hit, no left overs. The Tex-Mex seasoning is accually a rub and is from Epicure also the fajita seasoning is from Epicure.

    Recipe #433276

I have been looking forever for a good burger recipe and I think I am getting very close. I will probably tweek this on occasion but this will be the base. I used a very good quality breakfast pork sausage as I didn't want it to be to fatty. Also did not add any egg or bread crumbs as the binding in the sausages held everything together.

    Recipe #425982

I had never eaten lamb before until a friend invited me for supper. After the meal I asked for the recipe for the glaze she had used on the beef and to my amazement it was lamb she had served. Since then I have made this glaze a few times for the lamb I have come to enjoy.

    Recipe #425932

This dressing was first brought to my attention by my SIL, who found it in a local fund raising/awareness cookbook called Breast of Friend. This cookbook has been researched, tried and put together by volunteers in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada. The salad I use most frequently is not the one in the cookbook but one I have put together. The dressing gets better as it sits. Prep time does not include the time the dressing sits. NOTE: Do not have to make my lettuce salad, try it on your own favorite lettuce salad. I add 3/4 cup of Salad Crunchy mix found at Nutters, it is a combination of toasted sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, soybeans and sesame seeds.

    Recipe #347252

This is named for my brother because he is the one who invented it. This is our families favorite chili. In our family there is certain thing we think do not belong in chili such as celery, corn and pork n bean, this chili has none of these although if you have an mind to add them, have at her. This is actually pretty plain chili but good.

    Recipe #324634

I have had many different variations to a grilled cheese sandwich, but this is my all time favorite.

    Recipe #323655

I was helping make supper at my sisters and I was in charge of cooking the beets. Years ago I had tried every way to cook beet so I'd like them, didn't work. I wasn't really concerned if the beets turned out OK, because I wasn't going to eat them, so I went for simple. Well when I was stirring them one escaped the pan, picked it up no place to put it, popped it in my mouth. DEEEEE LISH US.

    Recipe #319068

I got this recipe from my sister-in-law. I have always thought there was no way to freeze either carrots or green beans to have them taste good. Well I was wrong and I didn't believe until I tasted hers. Just like fresh from the garden or very very close to it. I have done both but mostly I just do beans this way.

    Recipe #318611

This is my attempt to recreate a dish I tasted at a restaurant.

    Recipe #309428

I put a few recipes in my organizations cookbook and when I received my copy, I came accross this interesting recipe. I went and bought the ingredients, made it, tried it and it is now my new favorite slush. Bottoms up. Cooking time is freezing time.

    Recipe #309246

Just plain good comfort food. A bowl of this with a slice of homemade bread and your in heaven. Takes a bit of time to make but is worth the effort.

    Recipe #141767

I found this recipe while looking in a cooking for 2 magazine, it sounded delish so I increased the ingredients. Tried it tastes good. It can also be made in a 8 in. spring form pan but I like to make it in a 9 x 13 in. baking dish.

    Recipe #139549

Lyla, my mentor, used to bring these muffins to work on a pretty regular basis and because she put the orange zest in the muffins I only ate one (don't like zest). Last Feb. my father past away and she brought me these muffins and told me there wasn't any zest in the muffins. I ate another one and these have become my new comfort food.

    Recipe #138895

I had an excessive amount of tomatoes one year and had made all the rest of my tomato canning (salsa, spaghetti sauce, canned tomatoes and juice) and still had tomatoes left over. Tried this.

    Recipe #136937

In the fall I have alot of apples from my two apple trees. I am always on the look out for different recipes and I was looking for a recipe for apples other than a apple pie or crisp. Happened to find this one. I didn't know if the coconut and the apples would work but they sure do. Give it a taste.

    Recipe #136320

I have tried many different sauce recipes and not one recipe has everything I was wanting in a spaghetti sauce. So I took everything I liked from each recipe and called it my own.

    Recipe #136308

Do not remember who first gave me this recipe but I have used it every summer since. Great fruity taste.
