These truly are cookies for breakfast! Low in fat and high in protein, they are a perfect choice to grab on the run.

    Recipe #102012

This is the only "regular brownie" recipe I use anymore. It is from the Baker's chocolate box. My favorite is to frost these with almond-flavored buttercream icing tinted pale pink! Yum! Chocolate and cherries!

    Recipe #70267

This recipe from Cooking Light magazine is a super easy dish - especially if you purchase cleaned shrimp! My husband likes LOTS of olive oil, so I actually used several tablespoons - not so "light" anymore!

    Recipe #70266

These are a bit freaky looking! Great treats for Halloween or a fun afterschool snack that is MOSTLY healthy.

    Recipe #57683

I found this recipe in Organic Gardening magazine when my children were babies. It truly does make absolutely perfect brown rice every time! Never gummy. You can easily substitute it in recipes calling for rice without your family noticing (well, unless they dissect everything with a magnifying glass like my son likes to do)! *Please note: THIS IS JUST A RECIPE FOR BASIC RICE! It will NOT be fabulous alone! Use it for any recipe calling for cooked rice/ or spiff it up with the addition of garlic, onion, herbs, broth sub for water, etc. etc. It WILL be bland if served as is!

    Recipe #56242

We first had these in a nearby town known as "Little Sweden". I purchased a cookbook which luckily had the original recipe within! There are other melting moment recipes, but most use cornstarch. These are the real deal - and truly will melt in your mouth! Always a crowd pleaser!

    Recipe #55832

My children and I first had this delicious pound-type cake at a potluck at the Mennonite church. It was made by Vera, she had no name for her yummy dessert, hence the title.

    Recipe #153831

I used this often when my 3 children were young. It really works!!!!! It is very similar to the pricey OTC formula for nausea. If you are queasy - try it!

    Recipe #109693

Quick and easy chicken dish. My husband's favorite!

    Recipe #83792

My favorite way to eat Italian sausage. I always thought sausage was inedible until I baked it using this method. Especially great with Bocca Vegetarian Italian sausage!

    Recipe #74604

This Mexican Fried Ice Cream isn't fried at all. It is the way a local restaurant serves their version of the dessert. Yum!

    Recipe #74281

Who will know you didn't use meat! Nobody! This yummy meatless loaf is so much like "the real thing", most people cannot tell the difference.

    Recipe #74152

This recipe is sensational! There is really nothing to compare it to, a delicious vegetarian treat.

    Recipe #74151

I tried to duplicate these bodega sandwiches my son loved in Cambridge. These are a combination of those sandwiches and others we love from the Stuga bar.

    Recipe #74122

A great "I Can't Quit Eating This!" snack ready in 10 minutes or less! For those who prefer more of a butter toffee taste for their caramel corn. I tweaked the usual microwave caramel corn recipe so it wouldn't have that Cracker Jack -almost-burned taste. For those who prefer that taste, microwave the popcorn/peanut mix for one more minute.

    Recipe #71975

A simple chicken dish that is delicious with any number of Greek side dishes.

    Recipe #71395

Make one of your favorite candy bars at home!

    Recipe #70274

These tasty bars would be great to grab on the way to school or work. Travel well for lunches, too! They are really low in fat, and their healthy ingredients make them a better choice than their purchased counterparts.

    Recipe #69432

Great way to use up leftover mashed potatoes...if there is such a thing at your house! Extra good if you made garlic mashed potatoes!

    Recipe #64471

Wonderful ice cream dessert! I first had this at a baby shower when I was pregnant with my son. No wonder it is Spencer's favorite - he has it instead of birthday cake each year!
