A hearty dip that can be used in a variety of ways! Use with chips and sour cream for poker night. Put in tortillas and top with cheese and lettuce for a taco. Put inside tortillas, sauce, and baby spinach, and make into enchiladas!
I created this recipe over the course of a few years, and think I have settled into the final version. If not, I'll likely make additions!
These are seriously the BEST brownies I have ever ever made from scratch. And I've tried a lot of recipes. (go figure, vegan brownies aren't supposed to turn out well, LOL)
I use whole wheat pastry flour and raw sugar, and it's great!
The perfect blend between baked potato and broccoli cheese soup. Creamy, hearty, amazingly tasty. This was a soup I created one day while fishing for ingredients in the fridge. Turned out so well, it became a favorite.
These cruelty-free savory stuffed sandwiches were inspired by the Runzas I grew up eating. Cabbage and onions sauteed with "beef", loads of flavor. Usually served with ketchup or bbq sauce for dipping, and oven fries on the side! "Sausage" instead of "beef" tastes quite good in this as well.
This is a WONDERFUL hearty meal, for a sick person especially; the veggie version of chicken noodle soup. Great winter soup meal.
You could always do the stock in the crock pot, transfer it to the stove, and make the dumplings when you are about ready to eat. But know that the veggies will get super soft this way. If you use eggs and prefer, sub 1/2 cup water with 2 beaten eggs. This will cut the dumpling cooking time to 20 minutes at most altitudes.
