Having just started to eat salmon, I've scoured the web, cookbooks, magazines and friends recipe boxes for marinade recipes. This one is THE one that we like the very best. I found it somewhere on the web(not sure where) and tweaked it just a tad to suit our tastes.

    Recipe #185657

Got this recipe from my aunt several years ago. The cook time is actually the time to chill the pie.

    Recipe #111003

my girls both loved these frosted chocolate cookies. I've been making them for years. The original recipe came from an old Farm Journal magazine and my mom passed it on to me.

    Recipe #103707

Crusty, yummy bread. Got the recipe from Food Nation on the food network. We love this bread!

    Recipe #86665

This is a quick snack type cake that makes a good week night dessert with leftovers for lunchpails the next day. The recipe originally came from a Junior League cookbook from my area. I tinkered with the flavorings until it suited my family.

    Recipe #83718

This is a inexpensive and simple week night supper. The recipe originally came from my mom.

    Recipe #83717

This is an extremely thick hardy soup, a whole meal in a bowl. We usually have some raw vegetables with dip and some good crusty bread with it. It freezes very well. I've had this recipe for sometime now. I believe it came from the first year of the Taste of Home magazine, but I'm not positive.

    Recipe #75192

This spread has been in my family for more years than I am old. My Great-Aunt Tottie made this for the whole family for years, sometimes using five pounds of cheese at a time. She never allowed anyone else in the family to do it. After her death, over 30 years ago, we found the recipe in a drawer in her kitchen much to the delight of everyone. Cook time is chilling time for peak flavor.

    Recipe #71561

This is a quick and easy recipe that never fails to please even my picky DDs. Since chicken thighs are usually inexpensive it makes a economical meal. I like to serve these with some type of rice side dish and a green salad.

    Recipe #71557

I can't remember where this recipe came from, but from all the spots on the recipe card I'm sure it is an oldie. This is a meal that everyone in my family can agree on, which is a rarity! Doubles or even triples well.

    Recipe #71555

When I was pregnant with first DD,26 years ago, my favorite aunt made this salad almost every week for me because I craved it so much! I don't know where Aunt Grace got the recipe but it sure has been well used for many years! I still make it at least once a month! It will last for several days in the 'frig( if I don't totally devour it faster). The only hard part of the recipe is breaking the cauliflower into VERY small florets because the smaller you break them the better the salad turns out! Cook time is really time for salad to marinate.

    Recipe #71553

This makes some of the best hot sandwiches. Delicious, deeply flavored beef with rich aujus for dipping. Put it together in the morning and come home to a great meal! We like it with a green salad and some chips on the side. I'm not sure where this came from- maybe the food network or some magazine. The left-overs(if there are any) freeze well. Thaw, thicken the aujus and add any remaining meat and serve over rice or noodles.

    Recipe #69661

This easy sauce is made with things I always have on-hand. It freezes well so I often double or even triple the recipe, to pull out for busy work-night meals-once you've got the sauce the rest is easy! I'm not sure where I got the recipe, but, I think it was Taste of Home.

    Recipe #69658

We got this recipe from my father-in-law,Quinney Young, who got it from some newspaper years and years ago. My kids absolutely love it! I usually double it. Cook time includes the overnight marinating time. Gives your chicken a sour, sort of indescribable great taste!Makes chicken barbecue without the usual "red" sauce!

    Recipe #65319

This easy, yummy dish is well loved by my family. I love the ease and the terrific aroma that rolls out of the kitchen as the afternoon passes and dinner gets closer. I've had this recipe so long I can't remember where it came from. I usually double or triple it for leftover meal later in week.
