I'm still trying to get heart healthy with this one!! It has walnuts plus great veggies for your heart!! The vinaigrette is made with canola oil instead of butter. Plus, the veggies are steamed so it's easy to make!!!
Trying to be more heart healthy, I am trying to throw in a handful of raw walnuts a day. I thought I would flavor them up a bit so here's a nice and easy breakfast that I came up with!!! You can use any berries you want, I like blackberries!
When a Black Corinth grape is dried, it becomes a 'currant'! These cookies are from Martha Stewart's Everyday Food website. They have such great flavor. Her recipe says to bake for 20 minutes but I found that mine browned around the edges in 10 minutes. I posted her recipe as written but just wanted to let you know to start checking at 10 minutes.
