Simple, yet ever so tasty...a great desert which you can go back for seconds and feel hardly any guilt for! Depending on mood, I like mine either with swirls of golden syrup or a really good raspberry jam with the seeds. Depending on the time spent in the oven and your personal preference, it can come out either slightly runny or slightly too thick. If the first, return to the oven and leave the rice to absorb the milk even more. If the second, I pour more milk over mine to cool it slightly and it tastes even better I think like this... DON'T OMIT the butter if you like the skin and scraping around the sides all the caramelized goo...

    Recipe #333904

A yummy sandwich to have at home for lunch or a snack, and it's healthy!!! Well...-ish...

    Recipe #333734

SO SO SO GOOD. And I don't understand why more people don't make it, it is really easy if you are in the house during the day so can keep an eye on the condensed milk. My family rave about this and ask us to take it to all the meetings.

    Recipe #333663

Another variant on the other, my mum has this one whilst I munch happily on the other ;) Both equally as yummy though.

    Recipe #333653

The earlier you take this out of the oven, the stickier it is, but make sure it is cooked! An incredibly moreish and arguably healthier desert, or as a coffee cake.

    Recipe #333588

Adapted from a cutting in a magazine, I'm not a fan of chocolate and orange paired so I omitted that and added what I could find in my cupboard fruity and nut wise.

    Recipe #333580

I made two batches of these yummy things, and then was ordered to make another one...totaling to 36. I haven't counted how many are left either...It's one of those "safe" recipes which gives you fast results. When I was little we'd always demand these which were known as "lemon tops" in our household...

    Recipe #323844

Simple as the title states, a winter warmer from my brother's university book. It looks so so so easy, and tastes so so so so GOOD!

    Recipe #322616

A bit like the popular starter or side dish in Greece, I absolutely ADORE these! They're a healthier version of chips I always think. From my brother's uni book again. The reason why I love these are that they are really light, and my tip being serving them with a traditional garlicky tzatziki for really warm weather.

    Recipe #322614

I came across this recipe in one of my brother's old university books and kept it for use when I may need it ;)

    Recipe #322505

These look and taste absolutely FAB! Try them, and you can always adapt the recipe if you fancy putting something else in them.

    Recipe #322320

An interesting alternative to the well-known party treat

    Recipe #322240

A recipe I've logged down and not yet tried. Looks good though, and would be great after an Asian themed party or just if you are looking for a sweet treat which is a little different.

    Recipe #322228

A good alternative to mulled wine in the winter when you're being good :) Another one logged from a really old recipe book which has fallen apart at the edges :(

    Recipe #322194

Another party hit in our household!

    Recipe #322188

One of the major reasons I joined this website, yes I know there are many recipes. But try this one and see what you think, compare with your own :) You will certainly NOT be disappointed. I also find it is an excuse to get kids to eat fruit! We would always demand this every Sunday after a roast, and pour tonnes of golden syrup over it and let the sponge absorb all the sweet gooeyness.

    Recipe #322173

I'm not a great carnivore but this meatloaf is gorgeous with its blue cheese filling, and trust me, the ketchup isn't overwhelming at all! Great to try with the kids, it may convert some to become more meaty lovers but the cheese may be a bit too powerful for them. More of an adult twist on a school time nightmare turned here into something a lot dreamier!

    Recipe #322171

Something worth trying at the weekends or for social occasions. Serve with either plain rice to cut the tanginess or a creamy mash as a winter warmer.

    Recipe #322165

Lovely to serve with a mix of salads for a light lunch or a quick healthy snack.

    Recipe #322163

    The ultimate treat at parties
