This is a moist and interesting dish that is easy to cook and a pleasure to eat. The cheese tends to stick to the pan and if anyone finds a remedy for that, do tell! Adjust the cheese and Dijon amounts to completely coat your chicken.
My first posted recipe! I combined several recipes to create these; I was itching to make use of my herb garden but wanted to use baby potatoes. This fed six people, but as two of them were children you may want to increase the amount of potatoes. Also, this calls for 4 tbs of olive oil, but make sure you use enough to coat all the potatoes. I recommend pairing these with hamburgers and a salad.
This has been a holiday favorite of our family's for several years now. The problem is, we wlways lose the recipe. So this year I have decided to finally get down to recording it some place I wont misplace it. Enjoy!
Courtesey of "The Splendid Table" cook book. DELICIOUS!! but very complex and time consuming. I'm posting the recipe as is but have used some substitutions in the past. I found you will need a few extra egg whites for the meringues. Also i substitute cooking sherry for the Mersala when it's not handy and have used almonds in place of the hazelnuts. The chocolate buttercream can be made up to 5 days ahead and both the meringues and zabaione cream can be made one day in advance. Good luck and good eating!
This recipe was the result of one too few peaches and an extra apple lying around. It calls for 3 tbs butter for the apple crumble mix,but make sure you have enough to completely coat the crumble. I used Pillsbury pie crust and T. Marzetti apple crisp mix. I hope you enjoy this!
