I got this recipe from a fat free recipe site and then added what we like. The basic recipe sounded good but I added a few items to our family's tastes. It is easy and tastes great too! I usually serve this with a salad and garlic bread.
My aunt gave me her recipe for Bavarian Casserole and she used cubed potatoes. It was reallky good but my husband loves sauerkraut and wondered whether I could replace the potatoes with that. I tried it and it was very good. I now make both but we usually end up with the sauerkraut one. This is a super easy casserole no matter how we make it.
I don't know exactly where I got this recipe but I do know that we all love it and it is so easy to prepare. Even my picky eaters love it! I have shared it with all of my sisters and their families love it too. I hope you like it as much as we all do! The cooking time is 30 minutes but there is also the time for cooking the rice ahead of time as well as cooking the chicken. You can do that the day before if you prefer and that makes it go faster.
I found this recipe in one of those little recipe books sold near the checkstand in the grocery store. I always look at them to see whether they have any good recipes. We love this one and it is When I can, I use real crab meat but the imitation seems to do ok in it and its cheaper too.
I found this recipe in one of those little recipe books sold by the checkstand at some markets. As our family doesn't like nuts on cheesecake, I took them off and used chocolate chips instead. But other than that, its the same recipe. They are very good and nice to take to picnics or get togethrs. The kids love them too.
This recipe came from my Aunt who was an avid recipe collector. I don't know where she found it but we all like it very much! It is very flavorful and if you like caramel and apples you will love these.
This is a quick meal for when you have had a busy day and don't know what to make for supper. I cut it out of a Family Circle magazine a while back when I was sitting in the dentist's office waiting for my son. (I asked permission first, of course). When my son has friends over, they always ask for this dish.
My son got this recipe from his friend's mom. He liked it so much that he brought it home and asked me to make it for him. My husband loved it too and it is so easy to make. You can use any kind of fruit you like or pie filling so its good for anybody. I like it on those nights when I just don't have time to make a dessert.
I got this recipe from a church cookbook that was compiled by the ladies of the church using their favorite family recipes. I make it often and my family loves it. It is a break from the usual vegetarian loaf recipes and easier to take to potlucks etc. You can take the sauce with you in a tupperware container and add it just before you put it in the oven.
I love looking at old magazines and tearing out recipes. I found this one a couple of years ago. We love to make it for late breakfast on weekends....brunches. The kids love it too so that makes it even better. It is both easy and yummy!
I found this recipe from a friend when I was in college. She said her aunt gave it to her for her hope chest recipe book. I don't think people do "hope chests" anymore, but this recipe won't ever become obsolete because it is yummy! Make sure you don't over bake the crust! I have done it a few times and had to start again because it got too hard and crispy. My sisters have all asked for this recipe. They make it for baby showers and parties.
I got this recipe from a friend a few years ago. It quickly turned into a family favorite. Everybody requests it when they come to our house for dinner. It is a good way to use leftover chicken. You can use white meat turkey as well if you have any of that left over at Thanksgiving.
I got this recipe when I was on a vegetarian diet kick. I liked it very much and have used it often, even though we now eat meat again. Everyone loves it and it is easy to make. Hope you like it as much as we do!
