    This is a modification of a recipe someone made for my sister-in-law after she had her second baby. It's a wonderful meal, easy to make and put together, and nutritious. You can substitute for your favorite veggies, and use your favorite kind of sausage (or leave it out completely for a VEGETARIAN version!).

    After playing around with a few different recipes, I came up with this version of an easy to make "gourmet" sandwich. It looks like a lot of ingredients, but it's really quite simple to put together. The end result is a well stacked meal, loaded with nutrition the whole family can enjoy. It's great to eat for lunch or dinner, because it's hearty, healthy, and makes great portion sizes. There's a "papa bear" portion, "mama bear" portion, and two "baby bear" portions in one loaf (for our family)!'s rather inexpensive to make, too!     Due to making a deal with my sister to not have any SUGAR, I was forced to recreate some of our favorite treats, using natural alternatives! I'm happy to say...I like these better than the REAL DEAL! They are packed full of "good stuff", so you can eat them, guilt free (for the most part). In fact, my kids say that it's just too hard to only eat one! :0) They come out moist and chewy. You could, also, easily turn these into a great oatmeal chocolate chip cookie!     Biscuits are one of those items that go with an array of dishes. I've recreated this recipe to be lowfat and sugar free, so you REALLY can't go wrong with these! They brown nice and light on the outside, yet stay really moist and soft on the inside. Recently, I just made this recipe, sliced the biscuits in half, and stuffed them with a scrambled egg dish and cheese. Really tasty! Of course, they also pair nicely with a good stew, too! Or just eat them by themselves! :0) Enjoy!!

    I found this recipe in Clean Eating Magazine, and it turned out great!! I love the simple ingredients, and how quick it is to put together. Also, I've made it with a few substitutions: If you're not a fan of beef, I made it with chicken, and it was fantastic. I didn't have the soba noodles in my cupboard, so I used organic whole wheat spaghetti. It would be great with brown rice, too! Also, I tend to use whatever veggies I have on hand. So...follow the recipe to the "T", or make it your own, using this as a base recipe. Either way...I think you're going to love the flavor, and love how healthy it is for you!

    If you like chocolate, and you like coconut...this is for you! I found this recipe in my Clean Eating Magazine, and had to give it a try! It was super easy to make (only 4 ingredients! Wow!), and tastes wonderful. And the health benefits from eating coconut products make it well worth it, too! It goes well with a glass of red wine, or is a nice treat for the kids. Either was a hit for everyone in our family (young and old).

It was a little more done up than a regular turkey sandwich, but still simple enough to make, and pleased the palettes of both my kids and husband! That makes it an instant success in this home =).     I looked in my cupboards to see what I could put on our salmon, and what I ended up with was a dish that tasted like it was out of a restaurant (in our opinion)! We couldn't get enough of it! This is a wonderful recipe to use with company, entertaining, or just adding variety to weekly family meal time!     This is a recipe that I got from my wonderful friend. It's one of those granola recipes that you can easily tweak to fit your personal choice of tastes. If you don't like wheat germ, try flax meal. Not a coconut fan? Leave it out. And you can add any type of dried fruit that you like! You can't go wrong with this one.     I was trying to figure out a way to make enchiladas from scratch (without having to use sauce from a jar), that was both healthy and easy. I took a recipe that I found on here, and tweaked it to make it my own. My husband and kids loved this meal, and asked for it to be made more often.
