This is a recipe that I had found, but made changes to in order to make it totally decadent. This is one of my family's favourite dinners, but due to the rich ingredients, I don't make it too often. It's not exactly low fat, but it's totally worth splurging on! If possible, use freshly grated Parmesan and nutmeg.

I'm notorious for ruining rice, so I usually stay away from it -- until I found this recipe. It's Alton Brown's recipe for perfect brown rice, and it's great! I've made it many times and it really does turn out perfectly every time. You can use either medium or short grained rice.

    Recipe #303430

This is our family's favourite potato salad. As soon as bbq weather is upon us, my kids start asking when I'm making my potato salad. We're not crazy about celery, so I use pickles instead. I even use some of the pickle juice since we love the flavour so much. You can always just add a little celery if you miss the crunch. Tastes even better the next day.

    Recipe #302925

This chopped liver is is so easy, yet so simple to prepare. My family always looks forward to Passover dinner, because they know I'll be serving it with matzo crackers. It's also delicious on bagels the rest of the year. The pinch of sugar keeps the liver from having any bitter taste and makes such a difference when you use it.
