Diff from the store bought stuff and that's why I like it. Really good older recipe.

    Recipe #507310

This a recipe that's very similar to many fine fried chicken recipes, but in so many recipes they leave out what I think are two very important steps in the cooking of it. Start cooking from largest to smallest. Space. We all need it. Don't over-crowd. This is an old-fashioned, no frills, nothing fancy but dang good chicken recipe. Flour and seasoning amounts can easily be doubled or whatever to adapt to the size/amount of the chicken you cook.

My bud T-Roy gave me this recipe, and although I myself have not made it, I've been happy to eat a lot of good stuff he and his wife have made while utilizing this marinade. Lucky me, LOL.

    Recipe #474885

Just a nice, easy and tasty bbq rub. The recipe was given to me by Sharon Gennaro who said her family had been using this mix since her uncle came back from WWII after serving in the Pacific. ( I only mention this because tho they used it before that, it's about then when she learned how to make it as a teen from her grandmother) Thanks Sharon!

    Recipe #474884

Just a fun 'lil drink the whole family can enjoy.

    Recipe #474883

Yeah, these are a tad different. Remember you don't have to eat them just as steak/burger/patty thingie, You can slap 'em onion buns (Or whatever buns/bread you like) and play around with your fav. condiments if you want. I know someone who actually makes a gravy (of sorts) out of veggie broth. onions, cornstarch and some other odds and ends I'm not sure of and makes his own style of an open face sandwich with mashed taters and wilted lettuce along with this burger and puts his crazy gravy thing on it., I also think he omits most if not all of the mint. I myself am not a mint fan, and usually only use just about 1/3 of what's called for, and I don't use the mint garnish. Support Our Cattle Farmers!!

    Recipe #467369

From the Los Angeles Times, about 20 years ago. I put an hour down as prep time, but really that's not taking into account setting/rising etc. Just giving ya a heads up, but you'll see as you read the recipe, that yes, it takes longer. Support Our Grain Farmers!

    Recipe #467309

I think this a really awesome burger. I slap 'em on fresh baked onion buns, add some steak sauce, tomato and lettuce and I'm good to go. Support Our Sheep Farmers!

    Recipe #467308

Just a nice lil' crunchy Ukrainian cabbage salad I found about or around a year ago whilst interwebs surfing. The goal is to add a pleasant tang to the salad, and sour berries do the job nicely. Plus, they make for an eye-catching presentation. Use whichever berry is in season.

    Recipe #467307

Shrimp stuffed with a minced clam and butter-cracker stuffing and baked in sherry.

    Recipe #467306

A flour-thickened vegetable sauce melds flavors with orange roughy in this bayou-country dish. He says he got this originally from cooksrecipes dot you know what, and he really likes it. I've not yet had this, so please let me know what you think if and when you try it.

    Recipe #467305

Another I found while 'net scrounging, and I like it. I think this was listed as a Russian fav. I obviously have no idea if it is or not. I don't get to make it but about once a year, because, well, I gotta catch my trout first and since there are no trout streams where I live, (Nor even close by) I have to go get 'em. (Fishing at the supermarket is no fun) So it's something kinda rewarding after I've made a large (to me) trip to catch 'em. And lemme tell ya, those trout don't come easy to me, fly rods mess me the heck up. A shame I'd get dirty looks from purists if I attempted to use a casting rod. LOL

    Recipe #467304

I'm not sure I would ever have come up with this on my own, But after my neighbor Dan and his wonderful wife Danielle (THANK YOU) served me this great soup, So I did some I did some interwebs scrounging, and found this, which tastes VERY close to Danielle's version. This works for me, and I hope you like it also.

    Recipe #467303

The A&W Teen Burger I scrounged off the Interwebs a long time ago.
