I got this recipe from The Better Homes and Gardens Christmas Cookies Magazine. They are delightful. You can use any type of jam, I use raspberry or strawberry. To store, put cookies between wax paper in an airtight container, cover. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze 3 months.
This is a great recipe for thimble cookies. They aren't hard to make, and make about 2 dozen. Just put your favorite jam in the middle and your set!
The cookies won't be brown, but a toothpick in the dough part of the cookie will come out clean.
This is a wonderful Buttercream frosting I use for cakes I make. It is a sweet and fluffy icing. I took a cake decorating class at Michaels and the teacher gave us this recipe, and I love it!! One recipe will provide more than enough for a two layer cake.
