    Recipe #298299

This recipe came from Southern Living several years ago. I made it for an appetizer at a holiday gathering and everyone ate so much, they hardly had room for dinner afterwards. What was left was taken home by my guests. It is YUMMY and sooooooooo easy. I had several people ask for the recipe and it is now a tradition at their houses as well.

    Recipe #298272

Everyone I've ever made this for has requested the recipe. I experimented with several recipes and added a few of my own ingredients and this is the final result. Your kitchen will smell incredible...this makes a very moist & juicy roast chicken. The sweetness of the green apple and the garlic really imparts a wonderful aroma and taste. Be sure to serve with crusty bread to mop up the sauce.
