This is a healthy , quick and delicious anytime treat. My husband loves this in the morning for breakfast. The shake will keep you full and give you lots of energy to keep you going strong throughout the day.
I Love the tart and sweetness of lemonade.Lemons can get pretty expensive when they are not in season so I usually make this during the summer when lemons are at a reasonable price. Feel free to garnish with slices of lemons or mint.
I got this from another online site and I love the taste of this recipe. this is what was posted/"Panna Cotta literally translates as "cooked cream" in Italian. These softly set and creamy Italian puddings are so silky-smooth they slip down beautifully at the end of a meal. Perfect served with fresh berries or fruits according to the season. They are also perfect for dinner parties because they can be made a day or two in advance and kept refrigerated until ready to be served."
What to do with all that left over eggnog? Make crepes. I sometimes just make the eggnog crepes and fill them with pumpkin butter that is usually sold at Trader Joe's during thanks giving and top it with home made whipped cream. SO good!
After having the Sonoma Chicken Salad at Costco I was on a search to find a recipe to duplicate the taste. I found a good recipe on Wholefoods.com and tweaked it a bit. Of course, it’s not exactly the same but I think it is very close. My sister says it reminds her of thanksgiving.
These meatballs are great served as an appetizer or as a main dish with some rice. They would be great to serve on Thanksgiving because of the turkey and jellied cranberry sauce. If you wanted you could even buy the mini meatballs and just make the sauce if you are pressed for time or don't feel like making the meatballs. Feel free to substitute with your choice of ground meat to make the meatballs if you are not to fond of ground turkey.
This was taught to me by my Father who would make this a lot during the summer when strawberries were the sweetest and cheapest. It requires next to no effort and the results are delicious. (prep time includes chill time)
I came up with this recipe in an effort to get my husband to eat more vegetables and this has become one of his favorite meals. This pairs well with mashed potatoes. If you wanted to make this extra healthy you could replace the bread crumbs with oatmeal.
My filipina Mother-in-law taught me how to make this filipino dessert and it is soo good. Sad to say, but I can eat a whole tray in a day if I let myself. Most of the ingrediants can be found in an asian market.(RecipeZaar doesn't have Macapuno strings in their recipe list so I added it in parentheses next to coconut milk).
I got this recipe from another online site and made it for thanksgiving and it was a hit. I noticed that other copycat recipes for Boston Market Sweet Potato Casserole have pecans listed in the ingredients and although that sounds delicious too, I don’t remember ever having pecans in my casserole when ordered at Boston Market. This recipe calls for an Oatmeal Streusel topping which is how I remember it.
