    Recipe #422479

eco-friendly substitute for nasty-smelling and harmful-to-the-environment Clean Shower.

    Recipe #408602

Adapted from a recipe in the Nov 09 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. This was delicious!

    Recipe #402129

Adapted from the Nov 09 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. The flavor of ginger with the slight sweetness of maple syrup was wonderful. The tiny bit of cider vinegar cuts the sweetness, and really enhances the flavor.

    Recipe #402124

from the Nov 09 issue of Better Homes and Gardens

    Recipe #402122

Delicious, savory little tarts, with a delicious cheese and tomato topping. I don't know what it is about oven-roasted tomatoes that I just LOVE. From the Nov 09 issue of Good Housekeeping

    Recipe #401798

From Nov 09 issue of Good Housekeeping, featuring Paula Deen. There are other recipes for her crab dips on here, but this one is very quick and simple, with ingredients that I typically have on hand. I used nuefchatel cheese, and fat free Miracle Whip for a low-fat alternative, and the flavor didn't suffer at all.

    Recipe #401488

Tasty little morsels from a collection of Paula Deen's recipes featured in the Nov 09 issue of Good Housekeeping. Cheese straws must have been the inspiration for Cheez-Its (which I happen to love). These are cheesy, buttery, and delicious. A nice savory little treat, and very simple. Prep time does NOT include time needed to bring cheese to room temperature.

    Recipe #401485

This recipe was shown on an episode of America's Test Kitchen. I use Steve G's Flaky Biscuit Recipe #16093. You could use canned biscuits, but his are so quick and so easy, I'd rather not have all the artificial ingredients.

    Recipe #303682

Ordinarily, I'm not big on using "processed foods" but this is a quick and easy dinner that really tastes great. This recipe is originally from a canister of Stove Top Stuffing, but it's been tweaked a bit

    Recipe #254382

This recipe was inspired by an episode of the Barefoot Contessa, but tweaked a bit to meet our tastes.

    Recipe #254248

This recipe is patterned after the Guadalupe Salad at Velvet Elvis Pizza in Patagonia Arizona. It is delicious, healthy, and light. We will sometimes add chopped cooked chicken or pork. Dressing can be made ahead of time and chilled.

    Recipe #174480

Hubby and I watched Paula Deen make this yummy pie, and he just HAD to have some. It is well worth the effort.....and it's relatively quick and easy. Time to make includes time to allow chocolate to cool.

    Recipe #169686

I'm not even sure where this recipe came from, it's been around so long. It sounds complicated, but it's really pretty simple, and goes together pretty quickly. And leftovers are great! If I'm making this for grownups, I add spinach, but if it's a family meal, I leave the spinach out. Sometimes, I will let the chicken marinate in white wine and thyme overnight before I begin.

    Recipe #113305

This is another amazingly simple recipe from Everyday Italian. I LOVE grilled just makes the flavors of the fruit "pop." This isn't one of those "do ahead" deserts, it needs to be served as soon as it is prepared......but you can prep ahead by slicing the pineapple, and mixing up the mascarpone mixture and the Nutella mixture, and having them ready. Or, if your house is like mine, the kitchen is where everyone hangs out put them to work mixing stuff while you grill the pineapple. Would also be great dessert for a summer barbecue, since the pineapple could be grilled outside on the grill.

    Recipe #109938

These are so easy, I'm almost embarassed to post this. Great recipe for kids to get started with baking....or just for a quick treat.

    Recipe #106399

A quick and easy enchilada sauce. Very mild (to accomodate my DH and DD who don't like spicey foods). If you like it HOT, just increase the coriander and cumin and add some chili powder.

    Recipe #106394

from the November 2004 issue of Better Homes and Gardens

    Recipe #102000

I know, I know......Velveeta on a pizza? There's a little local pizzeria here and the crusty old guy that owns the place says that this is they way they had pizza when he was growing up in Philly.

    Recipe #97586

I found a similar recipe, but needed to adapt it more to our tastes. Frying the fruit filled "egg rolls" really makes the flavor of the fruit "POP" without letting the fruit get mushy. The sauce and pudding can be prepared ahead of time, and the fruit chopped up and mixed. But the final stage of frying the egg rolls should be done just before serving. Cook time is the time needed for the frying of the egg rolls and final assembly of the dessert. This makes a very elegant looking dessert
