This is a special treat for those of us that like a little Kahlua in our coffee. It's a perfect accompaniment to your Kahlua and coffee on a Saturday morning. For the syrups, refer to my recipe for Saturday Morning Syrup. Preparation time does not include time to make syrups or cook pancakes or waffles.

It sounds weird, but it's really good. I'm not a fan of beer, but I can't get enough of this. It's a great refreshing summer drink, and it can easily be adjusted to suit your tastes by changing the ratio of the ingredients. The man who introduced me to it called it a Creamsicle, so I guess someone thought it tasted like one, but to me it tastes more like an amaretto stone sour.

"This is the best drink ever. It tastes just like cherry gelatin, so it's very easy to drink one too many without realizing it. This is the name given to it by my best friend's dad. He calls any made-up drink that doesn't have a name "Hop, skip and go naked". If he ever asks you if you want one, you never know what you're going to get!

Got Milk?? Try my version of a steamer instead of paying $3 or more at a coffee shop. A great morning alternative for when you don't want coffee or tea. Not only is it creamy and delicious, but it's a really pleasant way to squeeze in a serving of milk.Try your favorite flavor of creamer or mix a few together. The sky's the limit!

When my best friend moved away, her mom's good friend made a cheese spread for the going-away party that was so good I spent an entire year trying to find where she got the mix. I finally found it online, but at $12.50 each after shipping, I decided I could probably come close enough on my own. So, with a little experimentation, this is what I came up with. I warn you, it's quite addicting and you'll want to stay a polite distance from others when speaking after you eat it. You can put the dry ingredients together and store them in ziploc bags or small containers so that you can just pull out a mix and add it to the wet ingredients in a snap. I serve it with crackers or beer bread. It can also be rolled into a cheese ball or log for a nice presentation if you're feeling ambitious.

You can use any liqueur for this syrup. Have fun with it. I've used Irish Cream, Coffee Liqueur, Amaretto, and Hazelnut Liqueur. It goes great on pancakes, waffles and French Toast, or use it to drizzle over cake with a dollop of whipped cream. It's perfect for a lazy Saturday morning brunch. Amounts are all a 1:1:1 ratio, so adjust as needed for the amount you would like to make.
