This recipe is from my husbands side of the family. They don't use measurements or amounts when they cook, so I will do my best to give approximates. You can adjust accordingly. This is a good, easy, fast recipe that is great for a weekday meal. We serve it over rice and chinese noodles. Yum!
I never made pies before this recipe because it never came out right, and I always had a hard time rolling it out. I was watching Martha Stewart one day, and decided to try her recipe with a few of her tricks and it works!! I haven't had any trouble since.
I saw this on Rachael Ray. It looked easy and yummy. It only took a few minutes to put together, and it turned out great! I also made adjustments for my taste and budget. I used regular mushrooms, and already cubed pork (stew meat), and not as much hoisen sauce. Enjoy!
I'm not a big fan of Apple Pie, but I really like this one, and it's simple, even with baking challenged people like me. :) My favorite part of this pie is the crunchy, caramel crust that forms on the top of the pie when it's done cooking. Yummy.
