An oatmeal cookie using orange slice candies....we have used green & red slice candies for Christmas but the family prefers the orange because our dear neighbors Ivan & Amanda gave them to us when we lived in San Jose,Ca and it makes for fond childhood memories .

this was a hit at the bbq. Everyone I know does the typical pasta salad with black olives & tomatoes, but the artichokes, REAL bacon bits, Vermont cheese and green olives were a hit! I like trying new things.
My daughter Claudia mostly thinks about winning medals in her Special Olympics events but she has to help cook too so this is an easy recipe she can make with a little help from me . We think it is a good basic recipe.
We like using cheaper parts but the breasts will do for a party Sometimes we use rosemary in place of the thyme
You use cheap dry white wine for this....red will turn the chicken an unplesant mahogany color but it willl tast fine.
