This is a recipe I came up with after my Sister In Law took me to a local Cafe and insisted that I try the bread pudding. I immediately went home and this is what I came up with, I like to tell people it is bread pudding for people who don't like bread pudding....like me:)
If you want a rum sauce replace the vanilla in the sauce with a small bottle of rum extract. You can also use whole milk in the pudding I just normally have 2% on hand. I haven't tried making with 1% or skim yet.
