This is from Alton Brown's Good Eats show and it's an easy and good mac n cheese recipe to have on hand. You won't be buying the boxed stuff again after eating this. (edited 8/15/2008 - This was initially posted with 3/4 tsp of dry mustard but after making this a few times I agree with the reviewer that said this amount is too much so I've reduced it to 1/2 tsp.)

    Recipe #313325

I got this recipe from a co-worker, she would bring this cornbread for potlucks and it would get gobbled up. I could make a meal out of this! I know there are lots of Mexican cornbread recipes out there but this is one of the best I've tried. I highly recommend using an iron skillet for this.

    Recipe #311914

From cooksillustrated.com, this potato salad is a great make-ahead dish, it just gets better the next day. Always a favorite at potlucks!

    Recipe #311868

Easy, flavorful rice recipe. Add some beans for a complete vegetarian meal.

    Recipe #311040

From www.TopSecretRecipes.com Just like the stuff you buy at the store but much cheaper to make.

    Recipe #310935

This recipe is from AllRecipes.com. This is a very light and fluffy whole grain waffle recipe. These freeze great, just wrap between wax paper. When ready to heat cook in toaster oven at 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes until brown.

    Recipe #310931

This is from Taste of Home, Healthy Cooking. Super-healthy blueberries star in this soon-to-be family favorite. Can't find fresh blueberries? Frozen work just as well.

    Recipe #305612

These are sinfully rich and always a hit at potlucks. The person I got the recipe from said they are called Neiman Marcus bars because the ingredients are expensive (I think she was talking about the 2 cups of pecans).

    Recipe #272096

This is from the "Everyday Cooking with Dr. Dean Ornish" Cookbook. The original recipe called for nonfat mayo and sour cream but I use low-fat instead for better flavor.

    Recipe #255077

This is a refreshing sweet/sour cucumber salad. Great on a hot day and very good with asian dishes.

    Recipe #218713

This lemonade tastes great. Just pour over a glass of ice and enjoy! You must use fresh lemons.

    Recipe #159565

This is a good dish to go with a Mexican meal. It's also vegetarian so throw in some black beans and you've got a complete meal.

    Recipe #137871

This is very easy to make and is very good. Great for potlucks.

    Recipe #125084

This recipe comes from a Food Network show, I've changed it somewhat to use less ingredients but still retain the flavor. You MUST use an iron skillet.

    Recipe #113968

I found this recipe on a cake mix box. These bars are very easy to make and are moist and chewy. Always a hit at potlucks.

    Recipe #113795

This recipe was originally shown on a Food 911 episode on Food Network. I have modified the recipe to use easy-to-find ingredients. This is even better the next day.

    Recipe #110751

These tiny chewy cookies are great, you can't eat just one!

    Recipe #110061

This recipe comes from my husband's grandmother. I had her convert her original recipe (which included bacon) to a vegetarain version -- I don't even think anyone could tell the difference!

    Recipe #110060

I fix one of these every morning for myself and my husband. It's a great way to start the day and a quick, easy way to get a good breakfast.
