I found this in Real Simple magazine from their easy dinner section, December 2008. I love edamame and was excited to see it used in an interesting way.

    Recipe #348778

A good lighter version with no whipped cream or egg yolks. From the First magazine for Women, January 2009, in their insider secrets for slimming resolutions. “Rich enough to hit the spot and light enough to fit into my diet” from Chef Jennifer Iserloh. Slimming Perk: Italian researchers found that cocoa’s flavanols can accelerate fat burning in 15 days. The compounds enhance the body’s insulin sensitivity, so sugar is rushed to the cells and used for fuel. Cooking time is chilling time.

    Recipe #350920

This is a combination of a few zaar Italian Cream cake recipes. I couldn't decide so I combined them. I am doing this so I can cut down on the size of the cake so we don't eat it all after serving it. 30-35 minutes for 9" rounds or 35-45 mins 13x9 pan. The frosting recipe has been doubled. Store in refrigerator.

    Recipe #350492

I found this on the Rosarita Vegetarian Refried Beans can that was destined for boring burritos. I love Chile Rellenos at Mexican restaurants. While I've never duplicated Chile Rellenos at home, I have tried the casserole version. Let's just say that they were less than stellar and took more work than I wanted do. I added a layer of chopped onions about 1/4 of a large onion since it was prepared for the burrito, plus a layer of salsa verde (medium heat) since my husband loves the heat. Although the ingredients call for Pepper Jack, I prefer Monterey Jack. This makes a great meatless meal in barely any time.

    Recipe #311633

I found this recipe before I decided to follow a lower fat diet, so I often reduce the cheese amount and it works just as well. I've also combined it with the Weight Watchers Baked Potato Soup #261058 for a nice lower fat recipe. I use broth when doing the baked potato version. Also adding roasted garlic is quite tasty. Can do the potatoes peeled or unpeeled. The cauliflower can be fresh or frozen.
