I got this recipe from Bon Appetit November 2007. I didn't want to lose it so I'm posting here for safe keeping. The Mascarpone lightens up the filling and the topping.

    Recipe #399481

I got this recipe off the De Cecco Perciatelli box. It's simple but if made correctly a real treat. We eat this as a main meal with a light salad and some crusty bread. I often substitute canned tomatoes.

I'm posting this for safe keeping. I got this recipe from my step-mom. She didn't cook much but she'd make this now and then and I remember thinking I'd died and gone to heaven. I have been making it for myself for too many years to count. It's easy and always a crowd pleaser. It's great served with warmed tortillas and a garnish of sour cream. Do not leave out the turmeric--it makes this dish. It alway makes the BEST leftovers.

There are several gingersnap recipes on here but I've been making this recipe for sixteen years and every year my family and friends want me to make them. They have crystalized ginger and that's what makes them special. They take a little time to make but they're well worth it. I decided to post them here because I've come too close to losing this recipe one to many times.

This is from Bon Appetit 1998. I like the fact that you can use any pan and it's free-form. I also think it's special because it has a topping. Yum!

This is a recipe out of bon appetit. They are buttery perfection and go great with a hot cup of tea. They also do really well made ahead and reheated, which is what I like about them.

This is a meat free version that includes sauteed zucchini. It is loaded with flavor and one of my all time favorites. Pure comfort food for me.

This taco bake is different in that it includes beans and the tacos actually stand up in the beans. It's pretty and very tasty. The recipe comes from Cook's Country and they haven't let me down yet. I like to serves these with guacamole and taco sauce.

I got this recipe from Cook's Country and I constantly get requests to make it. It's packed full of flavor. The white BBQ sauce makes this salad--just look at the ingredients! You'll want to be sure to mince where it says mince and don't leave anything out. All of the flavors together are outstanding. It's also very pretty.

This is the best salsa I have ever had. My best friend makes this and gave me the recipe. I've made it for numerous people and it's a hit every time. It's very addicting. You can make it as hot as you want by adjusting the Jalapenos. Enjoy!
