I've had this recipe for years and I'm not sure were it came from. I think it was clipped from a magazine years ago. It's slightly different from most other hot chicken salad recipes and I think those differences make it better.
My husband and I lived off this dish during college because it was easy and cheap. Now all these years later we are still making this and even our kids love it. My Mom gave me the recipe and I think she said it came from a box of Lipton's dry onion soup mix.
I clipped this recipe from the AJC years ago. It is credited to "Our Way Cafe" in Decatur, GA. The original as listed below calls for canned salmon, but I prefer to use fresh salmon (I bake it in the oven, then use a fork to flake).
