Light, fluffy, cool refreshing dessert I got from a friend at work. I sometimes substitute raspberry jello and raspberry sherbet for the orange. You may also used real whipped cream in place of cool whip. Time doesn't include time needed to set up in regrigerator.
My mother has made the sweet rice ever since I was young (a long, long time ago). We loved it but years ago I started adding cool whip and fruit cocktail to it for a dessert salad. Lately I've been adding cool whip and a box of frozen raspberries in syrup instead of the fruit cocktail, which we like better.

I think this is a Swedish recipe. I got it from Wanda Luepke in the Peace Lutheran Cookbook, Echo, Minnesota. Baked in a Krum Kake iron and rolled on a Krum Kake tube. This is a favorite of ours made especially for the Christmas Holidays.
Small marinated sandwiches. I first had this at a friend's house where she had a luncheon for a few friends. It was so good, we all had to have the recipe. It's not exactly low calorie, but so worth it for special occasions.
This is a great recipe to use up ham and hard boiled eggs, leftover from Easter dinner. The recipe came from Frances Smith, Rockcreek Center H.S. in Bluffton, Indiana. Our whole family loves this recipe. I sometimes use Velveeta cheese if I don't have American cheese on hand.
