These cookies are my favorite. Remember to shape the dough into patties and not balls, as it doesn't rise.

    Recipe #350318

My family didn't like cranberry sauce until they tried this one.

    Recipe #337785

Simple and tasty? I haven't really tried this. From the web.

    Recipe #297271

This is the best macaroni and cheese I have ever had. Omit the crushed crackers if you don't want the crunch. This is from Southern Living 1993, with a few changes.

    Recipe #292618

Thisis from a home economics book. The original recipe called for 10 slices of bread, but I found that less works better for me.

    Recipe #290555

This applesauce requires no cooking. Unpeeled apples gives the sauce small specks, but you can peel them if you want. Yield is estimate. From Joy of Eating Natural Foods.

    Recipe #289907

My dad used to make these every Saturday morning. He likes his pancakes large, but you can cook dollar-size pancakes if you want. Or spoon onto the griddle in the form of your young diner's initial. You can also try adding blueberries, bananas, or chocolate chips to the batter. From a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, with the addition of my dad's not-so-secret ingredient (vanilla).

    Recipe #289262

This is the recipe my dad uses for "Pizza and Movie Night" every Friday, a tradition started when my dad was a food service officer on a submarine and they would make pizza every Friday night for the crew. Add any toppings you like. Be creative!
