This is a recipe from the "Mrs. Fields Cookie Book", though its not a cookie recipe. It's sort of a mash-up between chocolate cake and white chocolate cheesecake. It takes some time to get it finished, but oh, is it ever so worth it!
This is a recipe f rom the magazine "All You". It is meant to be cooked in a slow-cooker, but may be pan fried also if you do not own a slow cooker.
I changed it slightly when I tried it, and substituted ground turkey for the pork. Here is the original recipe as published.
First published in Family Fun magazine Oct.09 edition. Great alternative to pumpkin bread. Taste great w/ vanilla ice cream, caramel cider sauce or just caramel ice-cream topping. Also can enjoy plain. Great way to sneak some veggies to your kids! Recipe calls for sugar, but try using a sugar alternative for a more healthier snack.
