Well, there isn't any sour cream in this cake, I used lowfat yogurt instead, but the original recipe that I adapted did use it (Mennonite cookbook, Sour Cream cake). Use any fruit you like. I had lots of cherries.

    Recipe #354102

Once upon a time I swear I had a honey bourbon chicken wing recipe in this cookbook, but I seem to have lost it, so I had to make it up again as best as I could remember. Needed a BBQ meat dish for a Christmas do and thought this would be a good treat. Prep time doesn't include marinade time or final cooking time!

    Recipe #344836

On the advice of my personal trainer I am trying to find ways to add protein to my diet and to the things I snack on. This bread seems to fit the bill so far.

    Recipe #334053

I had an urge for some carrots and ginger as comfort food and this is what I came up with. Now I can't stop eating it.

    Recipe #290162

I usually have a lot of eggs around the house for breakfasts and baking. This was easy to cook (I could do something else while it was baking), tasted great and filled me up. Couscous or some thickener might help with the wateryness after removal from the oven, though if you let it sit, that goes away a little.

    Recipe #89036

I adapted this recipe from an old family cookbook, The Mennonite Community Cookbook. I swapped sugar for splenda and white flour for wheat. I wanted a cookie I could eat without sending my blood sugar on a rollercoaster ride.

    Recipe #85759

This is easy to make and has a pleasing oriental flavor. Fructose is a type of sugar, but is sweeter than regular table sugar.

    Recipe #71096

I made this up one day when I was feeling lazy, and I was very pleased with the result. This is a twist on an easy meatloaf. The vegetables and tabasco add a nice flavor. I originally used turkey in this recipe, but I imagine that any ground meat would work.
