    When I married into my husband's family....I had no idea...Christmas and Thanksgiving, my MIL made this dressing...I am NOT kidding you. It's all my Husband and 3 brothers eat...She did not really make much else besides the turkey and this dressing and, It is a tradition in our family, and it just has to be made. Now my Son behaves like his daddy and uncles...Crazy! I truly, don't know how many servings this makes, because I believe, its about 3 the way they eat it. We have to double and triple the recipe, depending how many are's just shameful. We add the giblets and broth as stated below. Could not figure out how to get that in the ingredients, as it's the giblets and neck from the turkey.

    I hardly ever go to Starbucks any more, after purchasing a Keruig years ago. Tried one of these a few days ago and have been back 3 times. Last time, I thought this was crazy, so I questioned the cashier. He said use 7 squirts of peach syrup. They sell their own brand of syrup, but NOT peach. Off to Smart and Final to pickup some Torani in Peach, plunger, Tazo Zen and Simply Lemonaid. I purchased the plunger which was under $3.00 (I love that thing!) because the cashier had no idea what 7 squirts measured out to be. It's so much easier to squirt out the syrup, then measure into each glass, or so, I think. Hope you enjoy as much as I do! No more money spent at Starbucks on these babies!

    Mama use to make this cake all the time! It's my go to chocolate cake IF I do not have to take it out of the's just to moist to even consider that!     My family has used this recipe for years, it has even won First Prize at our local fair, many times. I hated to post this but I could not find another like it. I use Recipe #148727 for the filling, every holiday :) Note: I just tried this crust with Chicken Pot Pie and ummmm just the best This will make 3 each 8" crust or 2 ea 9" crusts. When I take the time to make crust, I make extra, I roll it out between 2 sheets of wax paper and place in the large tupperware (about 2" high) flat bowl and place in freezer...then when I want to make a pie, I can do so in a hurry!
