    From Safeway Pearl Barley Package - "This is such a tasty dish and it's effortless to prepare because the farfalle pasta (bow ties) bakes right along with the barley.     This recipe was mailed to my by my grandmother in upstate New York. She got the recipe from a luncheon at the Presbyterian Church. Can be cut in half. Chicken can be substituted for the turkey in the recipe. The serving sizes are approximate.

    This is a soup that I make to get rid of left-over chicken. You can play with the amount of peppers in the soup to make it more or less spicy for your preference. This is a fun soup that you can vary every time that you make it. I've used salsa when I didn't have tomatoes and chilis on hand. Can garnish with green onions and/or sour cream.

    I got this recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens Easy Everyday Low Carb Cookbook. I made this dip for a BBQ a couple of days ago - I served it with broccoli, carrots, celery and bell peppers. It is light and good. Prep time does not include chilling the dip.

    This is the enchilada recipe I grew up with... easy to make & good. Hope you enjoy! When I make this sauce, I constantly check to see if it "tastes right" for the mood I am in. If I want it spicier, I add cayenne pepper or more chili powder, cumin, etc. I am happy with the consistency of the sauce, but add more chicken broth to lessen the thickness, or cornstarch or flour to make it thicker.
