These Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie Muffins are easy to make and will fill your kitchen with the wonderful smell of autumn.
They are very moist on the inside. Beware of little children who gobble them up, leaving the wrappers strewn around your house! Not such a bad problem to have considering how nourishing these treats are.

Some days I need a little inspiration. I knew that I would be baking squash for our Shabbat dinner tonight. And I knew it would have some delicious dried cranberries in it. I just wasn’t entirely sure what form it would all take.
I looked around on the internet for a bit and saw this scrumptious looking recipe for a Southern style baked acorn squash and was on my way! Well, here it is.
This quick and easy gluten free beverage can be made from scratch in a matter of minutes.

To celebrate making it through this week, I found it only appropriate to create a candy recipe, this being of course my favorite category of recipe and possibly my favorite food group. Yes, for some of us, candy is a food group.
This super simple gluten free Rosh Hashanah salad is best made just before serving so that it is as fresh as possible. Let the sweet tartness of the pomegranate seeds enhance the bitter taste of the greens. Our family will welcome the new year and new school with this bountiful salad. We will miss old friends, look forward to being in touch with them and embrace new ones.
One of my regular readers at my blog, elanaspantry.com challenged me to make an agave free raw chocolate dessert. I cam up with this delightful recipe, Raw Chocolate Truffles with stevia instead of agave and a hint of rosemary.

You may notice that my “honey cake” actually has no honey in it. Feel free to experiment and amend the recipe if you miss the honey. Personally, I think this tastes just like the lekach my Bubby made for us back in the day, when I used to visit her on Long Island.
This Gluten Free Plum Jam is a great way to make use of those sour plums growing on tree in your neighborhood at the end of the Summer season.

Thai iced tea makes an ideal dessert drink for summer as it is both cool and satiating. The boys and I have been making a lot of these lately after dinner. My little one uses heavy cream in place of the cashew milk, though the older one and I make ours using the recipe above. Either way, enjoy!
