From the moment I first tasted this type at Chipotle Grill I was hooked on this tangy salsa. It's not always easy for me to get to the restaurant and to be honest, they don't give you a very generous portion with your chips. I looked all over the internet to find a recipe for this one, but couldn't find it so I made my own. I created this recipe based on the ingredients list on their website, plus a few of my own touches but the result is very very close. Adjust the hot peppers if more or less heat is desired.

    Recipe #431984

This is another quick cool side dish to enjoy on the hottest of summer days. This is very easily thrown together with ingredients in the cupboard. I really like to use the canned or jarred Goya red peppers, they have a good taste and save a lot of time.

    Recipe #245786

This is my very favorite gingerbread cookie recipe. The dough is so firm and nice to work with and is so wonderful smelling that it is almost like a stress reliever. These disappear in lightning speed in my house! This recipe is adapted from a recipe in the Joy of Cooking and according to the entry they only have 3 grams of fat per cookie! If you want crisp cookies roll out very thin. Thicker cookies = softer cookies, thinner cookies= crisper cookies. If the dough is too sticky, chilling should help. **I noticed a lot of people have been having some sticky dough issues. You need to make sure you let the dough rest at LEAST two hours. For some reason this helps make the dough more workable. I live in FL and we have terrible humidity, but I have never had a problem with sticky dough in this recipe.

    Recipe #80156

These cookies are so delicious and extremely easy! I found the recipe on a box of devil's food cake mix and I have loved it ever since. Nuts are completely optional, I usually make them without, but macadamia nuts are really nice when you add them.

    Recipe #79917

I have made several batches of this stuff. You can find recipes all over the internet, but this one works best for me. My favorites are the ones that really look like cookies (they make the kids and husbands crazy). This is a good craft project for kids too!

    Recipe #79306

I love potatoes boiled in Old Bay....this is kind of a twist on the typical recipe. It is delicious, easy, and requires minimal ingredients. This one tastes a lot more complicated than it really is! If you are sensitive to spicy foods I would half or even quarter the amount of Old Bay used. We like it spicy so this is a spicy recipe.

    Recipe #71443

This is my family's very most favorite way to enjoy scrambled eggs. They come out tender and moist. For easy clean up, pour the water from the saucepan into the empty stainless steel bowl and the stuck on egg just lifts right off!!!

    Recipe #63929

This recipe is from an old canning book...I think this would make a nice gift.......

    Recipe #63752

This is a good cheap meal that tastes very good! I notice the bouillion, Chablis, and apple seem to cut some of the tartness of the sauerkraut and the sausage comes out with the most excellent flavor!

    Recipe #63107

This is my little hummingbird friend's favorite nectar. I know some people don't add the coloring, but my little hummer refuses to drink unless it is red. If you have a less picky humminbird then you don't need to bother with the coloring. I have heard conflicting informations from "experts" regarding the use of food color. If your hummingbird doesn't object...leave it out...mine does object and hasn't had problems so I use it. Luckily I live in Florida and can enjoy seeing hummingbirds all year long! :o)

    Recipe #62537

This is a good all purpose chocolate frosting. It comes from the Anne of Green Gables cookbook by Kate Mac Donald.

    Recipe #61886

This recipe is the Anne of Green Gables Cookbook, by Kate MacDonald. This the excerpt from the book that inspired this recipe: "I just grow cold when I think of my layer cake. Oh, Diana, what if it shouldn't be good! I dreamed last night that I was chases all around by a fearful goblin with a big layer cake for a head." -Anne of Green Gables

    Recipe #61884

This recipe is from the Anne of Green Gables cookbook by Kate MacDonald. "Diana poured herself out a tumblerful, looked at it's bright-red hue admiringly, and then sipped it daintily. "That's awfully nice raspberry cordial, Anne," she said. "I didn't know raspberry cordial was so nice." " Anne of Green Gables chapter 26

    Recipe #61879

This is a good copy cat version of this delicious favorite. It is modified from a version I found on Recipegoldmine.com

    Recipe #60542

I think I got this recipe of a package of egg roll wrappers. I have been making it for a long time. It is great for a quick low-fat snack and a great way to use up leftover wrappers!

    Recipe #60370

Once upon a time I worked at McDonald's, and I used to make a TON of these things...this is how it works...we used reconstituted onions (ewww!) and canned sauce, but this is pretty darn close....

    Recipe #60368

I got this recipe from The Complete Bartender. You can substitute raspberry liqueur (Chambord) or Strawberry liqueur (framboise) for a different twist. Personally I think the Framboise would be amazing!!!

    Recipe #60354

This recipe is kind of a copy cat of a dressing from a local restaurant that, in the last few years has been available by the bottle in local supermarkets. I have been to MANY a Japanese restaurant and I have had yet to find a dressing I enjoy as much as this one....most are too sweet and cloying for my taste. I think this recipe is pretty close to the original (which if you haven't tasted it, it is hard to appreciate how close it really is). I hope you enjoy it!

    Recipe #60315

I like this recipe because it is pretty easy and I have gotten good results everytime I use it. It is adapted from a couple of different recipes. (This makes almost 2 cups of seasoning, I put what I have left in a jar or bottle and refrigerate)

    Recipe #55243

This is a salad that can be EASILY thrown together very quickly for a healthy and tasty side dish. I fixed mine with ratherbeswimmin's grilled shrimp and it was a super combination! It is supposed to be a quick recipe, hence the canned tomatoes and beans, but if you make it fresh I am sure it will be even better!
