I made the zucchini chips for something different. Then I found that you can make kale chips the same way. They are excellent! I had to give measurements, but adjust the salt and parmesan cheese according to taste.
All I can say about these is YUM!! I bake them in the oven, but you can fry or grill them. However, be careful on the grill, when I did mine on the grill the cheese seeped thru and out of the burgers. I did use a broiler pan when baking so the grease went away from meat.
My family loves this recipe. It is a great complement to cook-outs. You can use any type of meat. I usually use whatever is in the house, but the Spam gives it good flavor. I use the light Spam just to cut down on calories and salt. Also, the shell pasta works great as well. I usually use whatever pasta I have.
These are so good. I created this to give green beans more flavor. This is a big batch because there are 6 of us (7 if you include my hubby's lunch for work next day) and because they always want seconds ..... even the little ones. I use fresh or frozen green beans but cooking time will differ between the two.
A friend of mine told me about making this. I finally recreated it. They are so good. They give a new twist to fried potatoes. Can use bacon, sausage or ham. Great served with sour cream or ranch dressing.
Ok, this isn't the most healthy way to bake potatoes, but they turn out so fabulous and the skin is so tasty. I had to add an amount for the garlic salt, I just guessed because usually I just sprinkle the garlic salt.
I am a bbq nut. I like bbq on everything! So on our family pizza night, I created this. This is my favorite pizza. You can add onions to this. I don't like onions, so when I make this just for me I omit them. Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce is my favorite so that's what I use. You can use your own favorite brand.
We have homemade pizza night quite often. It gets the kids involved with helping with dinner and they are so proud of their own creation. My husband said he wanted a cheeseburger pizza. Have it taste just like a cheeseburger. At first I thought he was nuts and that it sounded awful. But after trying it I wanted more.
After making my chicken enchiladas, I tried to find a way to make it into a lasagna by making a few adjustments. It is so good and creamy and a change from the ordinary lasagna. This can be made lowfat. The one hour cooking time includes cooking noodles, chicken, soup mixture and baking lasagna.
My friend made this using tortellini's. I revamped it to our tastes. It is so quick and easy. Nice if you want lasagna but don't have time to make it. You may not use all the ravioli, but 1 1-lb bag was not enough for me. Can use cheese or spinach filled for a vegetarian version.
