This is a wonderful dish I found in "Cooking Light" magazine. This dish if full of flavor and despite all the ingredients, it is very easy to make. It's good served with rice and a flat bread. Braising in a this highly aromatic liquid yields an exceptionally flavorful and tender result.
This is my own recipe I dreamed up this summer. I've got an abundance of fresh herbs and wanted to try this out. Turned out really good. I also use this mixture on grilled steaks. The amounts of the ingrediets are an estimate (I didn't measure anything out) so feel free to use your own judgment. Hope ya like it.
I had some of these at a wedding reception. Luckily the hostess let me in on the ingredients. I just played around with the timing and amounts per appetizer and found the right taste. They are really good and the chessnut really adds a delightful ((crunch)).
Very simple. I found these while on vacation in Maine and couldn't get enough of them. Lobster is cheap up there and we ate them every chance we had. In other parts of the country, lobster isn't that cheap, but if you like 'real lobster' and not the imitation stuff, this is a nice (and easy) treat. The cook time is approximate. It depends on how big the lobster is. Just cook it until it's red in color.
This is a drink that will sneak up on ya and slap you in the face. You don't even taste the alcohol. I sometimes mix up a big batch of this and take it to dinner parties. It gets a lot of interesting comments, because it is such an unusual color. People really like this.
I got this recipe from a Jordanian friend of mine. The rice mixture(without the lamb and after it has been cooked) can also be stuffed into baking hens before baking. It's delicious served with Pita bread, hummus and Mediteranian olives.
This is a delicious and easy soup. Sometimes I go ahead and mix the bacon and sour cream right into the whole pot, which makes it richer and gives it a real and bacony flavor. This is one of my families favorites. I got this from a friend. I'm not sure where she got it from.
This is my own recipe. I love the flavour of rosemary and orange together, so I came up with a marinade for pork tenderloin. This turned out really good. Makes for a really healthy and fresh tasting grilled pork dish. Served this with Almond Cranberry Rice and carrots.
