Amazing! Very Strong but on the sweet side. I use "Creme de Mure" - Edmond Briottet from France -- it is a wonderful pure blackberry liqueur -- you can find this on the internet-

A different version of coconut rice using the basic white long grain variety.

    Recipe #288660

I made up this recipe with a bunch of things we had on hand... it tastes wonderful. Don't worry about the alcohol content for kids- the alcohol cooks off ( well most of it anyway) leaving only the southern comfort taste.

    Recipe #288510

easy and good - you can use any italian red sauce ( ready made or your own )for simmering -- i have used shallots instead of the onions with great results. Have the sauce simmering before you make the meatballs-it comes out better also-test the consistency of the raw meat before you shape the meatballs-the mix should be soft but it should hold together well in your hand. My kids, little and big, beg me to make this-there are never any leftovers!

    Recipe #287769

I made up this recipe from things I had on hand- and it came out great - this is a firmer/yet moist version.

    Recipe #285907

I have been making these for a long time - its easy and the kids luv them. This recipe is for 2-4 people ( depends on who is eating). You can double, triple or more if needed.

    Recipe #285400

I created this one night when I was making my southern comfort chicken recipe-- its so easy and doesn't require a lot of exotic ingredients. And the taste cant be beat. This is a sweet drink.

    Recipe #284840

I found this veal breast recipe online- I was looking for something that my great aunt Bessie made for us as children - she was the best cook in the world and my mouth waters when I think of her heavenly veal breast cooked to perfection! -This recipe , which I think is close to what I remember, is from "Mama Cooks California Style - Los Angeles Jewish home for the Aging" The recipe's author is Martha Goldberg. You have the option of using either stuffing. Make sure that toy get the leanest breast you can find ( ask then butcher ) and then. trim it again at home.

    Recipe #284753

This comes out real yummy and the chicken gets so tender. Make sure you use the chicken breast quarters ( without the wings) with the skin on. Southern Comfort is a mixture of Bourbon and orange/fruit liquer. I serve this over white rice.

    Recipe #284565

We enjoy this very much-I like the Jasmati brand ( american Jasmine) since you don't have to rinse the rice. You can also buy fresh ginger ( inexpensive) -peel it, cut it into small chunks then freeze. You can use the frozen ginger as you need it!
