    I found this recipe in the Australian Women's Weekly Chicken Cookbook. Really tasty and easy - my family loved it, so I decided it was a keeper.

    Lovey, creamy, tomatoey, mousse with a perfect salmon-pink appearance. Looks really fancy for guests if set in a fish-shaped mould and once unmoulded, garnished with a few prawns and lemon slices. Keeps for at least 3 days in the refrigerator. Preparation time does not include chilling/setting time.

    I have served this to so many people who have sworn they do not like broccoli and they have ended up loving it! Very simple, only 5 ingredients, and keeps well in the refrigerator for a few days. The cooking time stated is merely to crisp the bacon - if you don't even want to do that, you could use bottled imitation bacon bits.

    3 easy steps! I often serve this as a side dish at barbeques and everyone wants the recipe. People often can't quite decide whether to eat it as a veg or pudding, so they often do both! Great hot or cold. As all the ingredients can be pre-mixed, I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who tries this dish while camping, using e.g. a cast iron dish over an open fire ?

    I don't always want the saltiness of celery salt and I battle to find celery seeds, so I thought this recipe was a useful keeper!     The best fish cakes I have ever had. So sad that tinned pilchards (or sardines) in tomato sauce don't appear as a known ingredient on Zaar as these beat all the other fish cake recipes (for me). Perhaps a few other "foreign" non-American members will have this ingredient at hand and give this a bash. Preparation time excludes making mashed potato - can use instant mash if desired).
