This is another recipe from my dear friend, Kelly. Her family, 2 kids included, love this recipe. It is the only pancakes she makes. The first half of the recipe makes a large amount of mix to store in the refrigerator. The directions follow to make a batch of about 8-10 pancakes. Kelly says that the pancakes come out fine using most any kind of milk. *****UPDATE: My family loves them! 2yr, 6yr, 10yr and 43yr old ate them up. Not the "healthy" wheat taste that scares my kids away. I used yellow corn meal, will use white next time to make them look even more like the usual pancakes. Thanks Kelly.

    Recipe #292654

This is a great pasta salad to take to a bbq or pot luck. Try different kinds of pasta as well, just about anything goes. It isn't a bad idea to wait to mix the dressing with the pasta until you are ready to eat. The pasta will absorb the dressing if it sits for a long time. Another option could be to double the dressing, and mix one batch in while making the salad and the other when you are ready to serve. Cooking time is listed as time to cook pasta.

I found these on Martha's website. They are a nice alternative for those that aren't crazy about raisin oatmeal cookies, like me. My kids liked them. I increased the cherries by 1/2 cup from the original recipe just to my taste.

You gotta love chocolate and cheesecake!

    Recipe #285643

This is a favorite cake of my Dad's. I got this recipe from my Aunt Karen. The cinnamon in it really makes it good.

    Recipe #285641

This recipe comes from an old local cookbook where I live. This is a great dish to take to someone that has been sick or had a baby.

    Recipe #285591

This is called "My Sister Maria's Easy Apple Cake". It is a quick and yummy cake for dessert. Good warm and topped with ice cream. It bakes in a 9x9 pan, so you do not have a ton of cake. Just enough for a nice weekday dessert. **Please note the size of the cake mix. It is a little box, I use the Jiffy cake mix. I have made this cake many times to take with a meal I have made for a friend that has been sick or had a baby.

    Recipe #285530

I got this from Swanson's broth. My kids liked it. I use a rotisserie chicken from Sam's club and always double the recipe.

    Recipe #284940

I served this on white cupcakes for a baby shower in the spring. It was a refreshing change from heavy buttercream cake frosting. I will usually double this recipe.

    Recipe #284269

This recipe was given to me by my friend, Kelly. She is famous for this cake. She suggests using a tube pan which has a bottom that lifts out which makes it easier to get the cake out of the pan.

    Recipe #284263

I am told this recipe is over 100 years old.

    Recipe #284043

This was in one of her magazines. It is tasty and different.

    Recipe #284026

A nice alternative from grilled hamburgers and hotdogs.

    Recipe #283982

I found this in a women's magazine. Very quick and super easy.

    Recipe #283871

This is a fast dinner. I usually have all of the ingredients on hand for a last minute supper. You can get creative and doctor this up a bit by adding green pepper or other vegetables.

    Recipe #283566

A slight variation to another recipe here.

    Recipe #283529

A friend gave this recipe to me. It is a good all pupose granola recipe. She puts the nuts in a food processor and chops them so small her kids can't see them to pick them out. After it is baked you can add any dried fruit you may want.

    Recipe #282764

These turkey burgers changed my mind about ground turkey. I love 'em!

    Recipe #282473

These are the best appetizers in the world! The sauce is a little different than many of the other similar recipes. My mom used to make these for parties and would get mad at us for trying to eat them all before the guests arrived.
