We always look forward to Mom Mom's chicken at each at family gathering and we found out her secret: it's an adapted version of the oven-baked chicken recipe you find on the Bisquick box, which I am sharing with you. Simple with lots of flavor to go around and can easily be served for any occasion, any time of the year.

    Recipe #433365

My best friend Steph found this contest winning recipe in the Taste of Home Simple and Delicious magazine and we decided to try them this year for our joint yearly holiday cookie baking day. Nutty and buttery with a hint of citrus flavor; a nice addition to any holiday cookie platter. We did use fresh grated orange peel.

    Recipe #404238

Great idea for a football party, graduation party, any potluck get-together. I was assigned a hot side dish for a potluck work luncheon, served aside of hot dogs and other party appy's, and decided to try this out in the crockpot and it worked. It went over well; many people went back for seconds and came looking for the leftovers the next day.....it was the only dish that was gone! Very simple indeed, but it's one of those dishes that you hardly lift a finger yet it goes a long way. Would go great aside of hamburger BBQ, sausage sandwiches, bratwurst, hamburgers, etc or make as a main dish. Perfect if you don't have an oven or have limited oven space for your party cooking. I have figured on 16 servings/3 pierogies per person and prep time includes sautee of onion and butter.

    Recipe #331486

After fooling around, I have come up with the perfect tasting homemade version to this classic canned soup! At the age of 35, this is my favorite "feel better" soup when I come down with a cold. The ABC's are fun for the kids too! If you don't want to go vegetarian, use beef broth instead of vegetable broth or a combo of both.

    Recipe #327773

A Sandra Lee recipe that was featured in my son's school fundraising food co-op pamphlet. A nice twist using beef cubes instead of chicken. The sauce is a thin sauce; great served over egg noodles, rice or with mashed potatoes.

    Recipe #313801

These burgers are to die for! We had them down at the shore at the Green Turtle pub. I've been craving them since and this is the duplication I've come up with after some fooling around in the kitchen. Serve with a side of fries, onion rings or potato salad and of course, a dill pickle. You can make the burgers into 1/2 pounders and make 4 large crab cakes, if you desire. As much as I love ketchup on a burger, please, don't do it to this burger!

    Recipe #312908

This soup is the best! My mom owns a catering business and her chef makes this for the cafe. Flavorful and hearty, even has a bit of a kick to it. Serve with warm crusty bread...a great meal on a fall/winter day.

    Recipe #217180

Real comfort food done plain and simple. This usual tough cut of meat will melt in your mouth after slow cooking all day. Serve with mashed potatoes, veggie and rolls.

    Recipe #214223

Makes a great easy weeknight dinner and is easily a one-dish meal. I usually serve this with a side of pickled beets and/or rye bread/rolls.

    Recipe #211073

An easy and quick way to liven up a can of butter beans. Also a good way to get kids to eat their beans. Goes great aside a meal of meat and mashed potatoes.

    Recipe #206641

A simple and comforting crock pot soup. It's so easy that the only work you have to do is chop the onions and cilantro; the rest is a "dump and go"! Recipe is very adjustable to fit everyone's diet preferences: if you're watching your fat intake and/or are watching carbs, use cooked turkey meatballs, omit the rice and use low fat or fat free toppings. You can also use low sodium broth and tomatoes, if watching your salt intake.

    Recipe #195491

Easy, quick and good for you soup. This recipe is actually from a WW website; but for my low carb diet I added some lean ground beef and made some other adaptions. If you are on WW, skip the beef and it's 0 points per serving. If you are watching your sodium intake, use low sodium broth and no added salt tomatoes.

    Recipe #161789

A great tasting stove top chicken dish to whip up for both a regular family dinner or when company is coming. If you're not watching your carbs, a side of rice pilaf goes nicely.

    Recipe #160650

Moist and tasty! For those on WW, it's an easy, economical homemade alternative to buying the overpriced WW baked goods in the grocery store. This recipe is courtesy of the WW website.

    Recipe #154636

An easy, no fuss crock pot dinner. I serve this aside of mashed potatoes or Recipe #64252 and applesauce. Recipe is courtesy of "Fix It and Forget About It" cookbook, with a few of my own adaptations to the recipe.

    Recipe #154603

This is a family favorite and is always requested for a gathering. Very easy to prepare; lots of flavor. You can add a small amount of finely diced onion and/ or egg if you like, but this is just how we enjoy it. Serving size is based on 4 oz per person.

    Recipe #137025

Fun to make and eat! A great protein-filled nutritious snack for kids. Easy to make; fun for the kids to help. My 5 y/o loves them. This recipe is courtesy of Better Homes and Gardens "Kids Snacks" cookbook, 1985. ***Do not feed honey to anyone under the age of 1 years old, due to the possibility of an allergic reaction.

    Recipe #129812

For all you low carb dieters out there, don't feel like a carb outcast at your next picnic! The cauliflower stands in for potatoes on this dish. Some cooked, chopped bacon would be a nice addition.

    Recipe #128976

I love this because it's delicious, easy and fits my low carb diet. I bet that some bean sprouts, peanuts and/or water chestnuts would go great in this dish so feel free to experiment. This recipe is courtesy of Taste of Home Cooking magazine.

    Recipe #124970

A sweet and filling breakfast for the low carb dieter. For those following the South Beach Diet, this is Phase I friendly. This recipe is adapted from an online SBD forum.
