Lots of peppers, tender beef and tomatoes stir fried in a delicious brown ginger/garlic/soy sauce. I love to serve this over some Jasmine rice. It's a family favorite passed along from my aunt. I think it tastes even better than take out! Perfect easy weeknight dish to prep, cook and on table in 30 minutes.

    Recipe #479319

Great recipe that cooks while you are away; your house will smell like you slaved all day! Use regular noodles (not the no-boil noodles). You can brown the meat and onion the night before and assemble in the morning. This recipe was passed onto me by my friend Melissa.

    Recipe #467636

Great recipe for those following any low carb diet (ie: South Beach, 17 Day Diet, etc.) Phase one/Cycle one friendly. Or serve on a toasted roll of your bread choice.

    Recipe #458139

I like this recipe because it's quick, authentic tasting and incoporates fresh veggies in the sauce; my picky 10 y/o scarfed this up and didn't bat an eye at the finely chopped veggies in sauce. A nice, quick sauce that doesn't have to cook for a long period of time which is perfect for weeknight dinners. I served this over Barilla pasta Linguine Fini, but any pasta will do. This recipe is courtesy of Food Network Magazine w/some of my own adaptions.

    Recipe #444158

These are delicious, simple and quick. You won't even know that the "crisp" is a saltine cracker. A cross between a cookie and candy, you break these up like you would peanut brittle or peppermint bark; they make a nice addition to any cookie platter or gift in a tin for the holidays or anytime of the year. You may use other nuts in place of the pecans (walnuts, almonds, etc). Prep and cook time does not include cooling time.

    Recipe #444157

We always look forward to Mom Mom's chicken at each at family gathering and we found out her secret: it's an adapted version of the oven-baked chicken recipe you find on the Bisquick box, which I am sharing with you. Simple with lots of flavor to go around and can easily be served for any occasion, any time of the year.

    Recipe #433365

My best friend Steph found this contest winning recipe in the Taste of Home Simple and Delicious magazine and we decided to try them this year for our joint yearly holiday cookie baking day. Nutty and buttery with a hint of citrus flavor; a nice addition to any holiday cookie platter. We did use fresh grated orange peel.

    Recipe #404238

Great weeknight dinner; cooked stovetop in 30 minutes with tons of flavor. After the chicken was taken from the pan, I melted a pat of butter and sauteed 2 inch asparagus pieces in the same, uncleaned skillet, with chicken and garlic drippings. Courtesy of Kraft Food and Family Magazine.

    Recipe #363985

Great idea for a football party, graduation party, any potluck get-together. I was assigned a hot side dish for a potluck work luncheon, served aside of hot dogs and other party appy's, and decided to try this out in the crockpot and it worked. It went over well; many people went back for seconds and came looking for the leftovers the next was the only dish that was gone! Very simple indeed, but it's one of those dishes that you hardly lift a finger yet it goes a long way. Would go great aside of hamburger BBQ, sausage sandwiches, bratwurst, hamburgers, etc or make as a main dish. Perfect if you don't have an oven or have limited oven space for your party cooking. I have figured on 16 servings/3 pierogies per person and prep time includes sautee of onion and butter.

    Recipe #331486

After fooling around, I have come up with the perfect tasting homemade version to this classic canned soup! At the age of 35, this is my favorite "feel better" soup when I come down with a cold. The ABC's are fun for the kids too! If you don't want to go vegetarian, use beef broth instead of vegetable broth or a combo of both.

    Recipe #327773

Not your ordinary potato salad. This recipe is served warm or at room temperature, like a German Potato salad is served. Very versitile because it can be served for a picnic in the summer sun though it's hearty enough for a dinner in the dead of winter as a one dish meal or along side of a green salad or veggie and warm crusty bread. It's very yummy indeed! Courtesy of the Deen Bros. cookbook "Y'all Come Eat".

    Recipe #319461

A very easy, no-bake recipe that was given to me by a co-worker who's sister works in a university cafeteria and they serve this to the co-eds. Great idea for bake sales, school snacks, pot lucks...a good summer treat for the kids without heating up your kitchen. I'm guessing on the servings because you can cut them as small or as large as you would like them. The cooking time includes the one hour of cooling time.

    Recipe #319439

My best friend made this recipe for a summer picnic and it went down too smoothly! A great alcoholic punch for any warm weathered gathering. This recipe is courtesy of Paula Deen's magazine, issue May/June 2008.

    Recipe #318759

This is a great refreshing summertime alcoholic beverage; it goes down smoothly. The recipe is off the bottle of McGillicuddy's French Kiss vanilla liqueur. You can also wet the rim of the glass and coat with graham cracker crumbs.

    Recipe #315267

A Sandra Lee recipe that was featured in my son's school fundraising food co-op pamphlet. A nice twist using beef cubes instead of chicken. The sauce is a thin sauce; great served over egg noodles, rice or with mashed potatoes.

    Recipe #313801

These burgers are to die for! We had them down at the shore at the Green Turtle pub. I've been craving them since and this is the duplication I've come up with after some fooling around in the kitchen. Serve with a side of fries, onion rings or potato salad and of course, a dill pickle. You can make the burgers into 1/2 pounders and make 4 large crab cakes, if you desire. As much as I love ketchup on a burger, please, don't do it to this burger!

    Recipe #312908

This is an excellent chowder! It's not a thin broth yet it's not super thick either. It's chock full of seafood and veggies with a nice mild zing of Caribbean jerk seasoning. You can grill the red and green peppers first, if you wish and can also use sweet potatoes in place of white potatoes. Recipe can easily be scaled down to feed less.

    Recipe #256356

Sauce that is chock full of chopped ground beef, pork sausage and meatballs. Serve it over your favorite pasta noodles, as a sauce for lasagna, ziti or manicotti or use it as a pizza sauce. Freezes well too. May serve more than 12 servings.

    Recipe #252067

My mom's's darn good! Makes a nice drink when sitting out on the deck on a hot summer night...we also make these for our family Christmas eve get-together.

    Recipe #248763

Over the years, these beans have always been requested for any picnic or bbq we've held or have attended. Very easy too. Serves a large crowd but recipe can be scaled down to your liking. Kitty was a co-worker of mine years ago and passed along this recipe before she moved to the south.
