This recipe was given to me 22 years ago. A friend made this up and her husband was so impressed He told her it was "the bomb", and it stuck. It's super simple and may not sound like anything super impressive but it is. It is my staple, always asked to bring to parties. Feeds a large group. Layer as directed, the chocolate pudding moistens the cake perfectly. You can add some chocolate chips to the cake batter. But on the other hand you can make this recipe low fat by using 1 egg and cut some of the oil and use apple sauce instead. Use lite whip cream and sugar/fat free pudding.

These are now the most asked for dessert EVER! You won't believe how great these are! I was able to recreate a rum ball I had only 1 time many years ago. My nephews buy them at a bakery in Chicago when they can get up there. So I aim to be their favorite aunt by making these for family gatherings from now on. They must be served very cold. Use only good quality rum. I use Tortuga rum 2 shots vanilla and 2 shots white.

    Recipe #305494

This is one of those recipes that seem like they might have potential so you cut it out and save it. Finally get around to trying it and find it is now a regular feature in your meal planning. It is great because it can be easily adjusted to be low-fat. Leave out the egg (Won't notice its missing), use the whole wheat variety of cinnamon raisin bread (check the points and get the lowest), use 1/3 less fat cream cheese (not fat free), omit butter add Brummel and Brown. These are great left over. I even pack them for lunch, they are great cold! This is from Woman's World Magazine.

Oh my goodness, this is a great recipe. I always make it with my SUPER, IMPRESS MY FRIENDS dinner combination. The Cilantro-Lime Rice and Tequila-Orange Shrimp posted by me. Everyone raves afterward! The more the juices of each dish mixes, the better. Once on a vacation I didn't have a blender so I minced everything and it really works in a pinch. This is a Martha Stewart recipe.

    Recipe #297143

This is a really good, simple side. I once accidentally mixed all the ingredients in the water, before cooking the rice and it was great too. I added more fresh cilantro after. This is a must to be served with my AWESOME, IMPRESS my friends dinner combination. Serve with Tequila-Orange Grilled Shrimp and Avocado Salad posted by me. The more the juices of each dish mixes with one another the better it tastes! This is a Martha Stewart recipe.

    Recipe #297135

This is one of those recipes that you will treasure. I make this allot for entertaining and everyone always RAVES about it. I ALWAYS make the Lime Cilantro Rice and Avocado Salad posted by me with this dish. The combination is a truly amazing meal. That is guaranteed to impress! Hint: DO NOT make this marinade ahead (like the day before) the zest will cause it to get very bitter tasting! Also it says to cook mixture 7-8 minutes until gets thick and syrupy. I low boil it for 20-25 minute and it still isn't that thick, but it works! This is a Martha Stewart recipe.
