    I love Southwestern Eggrolls but didn't like the grease and salt that went along with them. Now I make them at home and they are super easy to make and better for you. I serve them for dinner, instead of as an appetizer. Durring the week I use chicken I've already cooked and dried onion flakes so it doesn't take a lot of time but you could cook the chicken and some fresh onion before adding the rest of the filling ingreidents if you prefer. Also, the filling can be frozen and used later if you wanted to make less of the rolls. I did use low sodium or no salt added corn and beans, but the site didn't recognize those varieties.

    This is a simple and easy dinner. It is realtively low in fat and calories but tastes delicious. You can use a clove of galric in place or the galic powder or leftover bacon instead of the botteled bacon pieces. I use the 50% less fat bacon pieces from Hormel; convienence is important to me. :-) Great as is, or serve with salad and rolls.

    Guilt free, easy and so good! This came in an email from the Hungry Girl site. When I make it I leave out the cilantro and salt, use an additional dash of garlic powder and cumin and just a pinch of cayenne. I use Pace Picante in medium heat, and usually replace the fat-free cheese for low-fat. The recipe is easily doubled or trippled. Sometimes the corn tortillas crack upon baking; doesn't impact the taste but not presentation perfect. I serve this with fat-free sour cream and salsa. Yum!

    Quick, easy and low fat. I serve this alone or over pasta. The filling has enough flavor that you don't need additional sauce. Any filling that doesn't fit in the mushroom caps can be added around the sides of the mushrooms and served over pasta too. Just a tip, use fresh parmensan for this recipe; if you don't want to grate it, thinly shaved parmesan will work too. Can easily double the recipe to serve more people.

    I was asked to bring a veggie dish to a BBQ, the challenge was that one person at the BBQ is allergic to dairy, and another only eats certain veggies. This is what I came up with, and it was well received by all; I had no left overs. Note: It is delicious with fresh parmesan or romano cheese in place of, or in addition to, the lemon zest.

    I love tomato basil soup but added the zucchini and yellow squash to make it a little more hearty. It is great without the zucchini and squash too. You can also leave out the red pepper and olive oil if you prefer. This is great with grated parmesaen cheese on top and a piece of garlic bread on the side.

    This is so easy and quick! It is from one of the American Heart Association cookbooks but I made a few changes by adding onion and a little more corn. The original recipe also suggest you add canned chicken but I had some home cooked chicken on hand (I am not a big fan of canned chcken).

    These are easy to make and so good! Great in the summer as a sweet treat or for a dessert. You can use any fresh berries you want, I usually use raspberries, blackberries and blueberries or cut up strawberries. The cook time below is actual time it takes for the chocolate to set. The cups make this easier then trying to dip the little berries in the melted choclate.

    I wanted taco soup and had a few recipes but all of them called for some ingredient I didn't have on hand. I improvised and came up with this and I don't think I'll make taco soup any other way! The whole time my husband and I were eatting this we kept saying "Oh my gosh this is so good!" So we call it OMG Taco Soup. We served it with lime flavored tortilla chips and low fat shredded chedder cheese. Note:you can use Italian style tomatoes in place of Mexican stlye.

    Found this recipe years ago. It is a little different from some of the other grilled bourbon chicken recipes on Zaar. There is no ketchup in this recipe and it is not spicy. You can certainly add a few dashes of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to kick it up a notch. Time indicated below does not include marinating.

    This is a little different from some of the other peppermint bark recipes I saw on Zaar. I've been making it for years and always get compliments on the peppermint and chocolate ratio. The peppermint is not over powering. You can certainly add more peppermint extract if you like more peppermint flavor. It looks like a lot of steps but this is supper easy to make. Cooking time is chilling or sitting time.

    Super simple and a very addicting appetizer. Just a few ingredients and very little prep work, this makes holiday entertaining easy. Not sure where the recipe came from but it was always at gatheringsgrowing up and has been a staple at holiday gatherings in our family for over 30 years. For something different you can use the cream cheese spread with green onions instead of regular cream cheese. This is great spread on Ritz crackers, but other crackers work too.     My husband's long time friend Tom loves to mix drinks, and he is pretty good at it too. Surprisingly, he is not a bartender. He knows I like coffee and came up with this drink for me last time we visited him. It was strong, but good. We used Starbucks brand for the coffee and cream liqueur but Zaar didn't recognize it. You can use Kahlua for the coffee liqueur. However, the Starbucks CREAM Liqueur tastes a little different them Irish Cream but that is the closest thing that Zaar would recognize; it would still taste good (not exactly the same, but close and still good).

    This is not sweet like other polynesian chicken recipies. The recipe is low in fat and the original recipe came from AHA Meals in Minutes. It felt like it needed something so I made a few tweaks. I spoon the chicken and sauce over rice and cooked veggies like broccoli and zucchini). The sauce is not thick, but the rice soaks it up and it is so flavorful! Delicious and healthy!
