This was an all-time favorite of mine growing up. Once I left the nest, I had to figure out a way to make it on my own. This is a simple and short version of this dish. Ther are more complicated ones around.
These pancakes are very moist and fluffy....just the way I like them. This recipe came from a little trial and error. I tried a bunch of recipes and used a little of each in order to come up with this. This recipe can use any type of butter, but I prefer to use Smart Balance butter.
This is a definitely a healthy and delicious way to incorporate seaweed into your diet. Traditionally, Koreans would serve this on birthdays and after giving birth. They say that the seaweed helps the new mother to heal.
