This shredded cheese dip is deceptive. It's looks different but once party-goers have a taste they can't leave the bowl! I've had special requests from co-workers to bring this in and it's an addictive favorite at Packer Parties!
So easy to put together and a knock out at any party!
Buy beef tenderloin on sale, make these mini buns of gold and freeze...if they last that long. Not for those on low fat diets...will be a huge hit with teens and hubbies craving beef! Recipe comes from a phenomonal cook, my husband's cousin Katie who made these at a family gathering. I couldn't leave without the recipe. Thanks so much Katie!
One of my kids favorites! It's easy to make ahead, or on the spot because I always keep the ingredients on hand. Make sure to use the bottled chopped ginger you can find in the produce section near the bottled chopped garlic.
The first time I made this, my kids walked in from school, ooohhing and ahhhing at the delicious aroma. They were begging for "schnibbles"! Adapted from "The Dinner Doctor" cookbook, it has a great zippy flavor that the entire family will love!
NON FOOD!! Cheap alternative to store bought Windex. I keep a spray bottle in each bathroom for quick and easy mirror and counter clean ups. I wipe the mirrors with crumpled newspaper instead of paper towel to achieve a lint free shine!!
15 minutes to the table! Vary taste by what you have on hand. Many "cream of" soups will do: celery, mushroom, chicken with herbs. Also, veggies can be Pasta Accents (with noodles), leftovers or canned...whatever. Also, pass hot sauce for the adults and add whatever spices you like (basil, oregano, parsley, salt...) Although it really doesn't need any! I just made this tonight and we all had three helpings (including my toddler)!
Ahh...yum! I love these carrots! Go ahead...double or triple this! Add more garlic or sugar if you want! You can even do it ahead of time and just warm it up in the skillet before everyone sits down. Our favorite way to eat carrots!
This is the ONE! It will top all your other spinach dip recipes and will receive rave reviews! If you have the time, use fresh spinach...it makes it so much better! Also, you could cut down the cheese a bit without sacrificing the dish, but I think that's what makes it great!
Quick and hearty soup that you can change to fit the ingredients you have in the fridge. I've used refrigerated pasta, but it tends to bust open, so use the dried. Also, the original recipe called for zucchini instead of the peas, but they became so wilted I substituted. Feel free to try your own variations.
This YUMMY make ahead dish is perfect for brunches alongside fruit and muffins...or serve it for dinner with tomato soup or salad. I buy small boneless hams on sale, cube them and freeze in one cup portions. If you keep frozen broccoli as a staple, this is easy to put together anytime! I originally got this recipe from a Miracle Whip ad, but changed the spices to suit my taste. Feeel free to do the same. I've also substituted stovetop stuffing for the croutons (double amount though) and it works great! Enjoy!
