My husband gave me this recipe one night to make and like most recipes I changed it and did my own thing. I like it a lot better. The flavor component is slightly different from other taco rings but still delicious and very easy to make.

    Recipe #149621

A must try for anyone who loves pumpkin!

    Recipe #77071

An easy alternative to corn meal coatings.

    Recipe #77070

Hawaiian beach side favorite. When you get to the North Shore, right near Shark's Cove, look for "the Hut". It's an open-air shack with a tiki ploe. Best Loco Moco!

    Recipe #77068

This is our family stuffing recipe. I got it off the food tv wedsite.

    Recipe #76957

My husband came up with the recipe.

    Recipe #76955

I got this recipe from cooking club magazine. It's very aromatic and tastes wonderful and creamy. The recipe omits the part about blending until smooth but we like it that way. You can leave it chunky if you like chunky soup. This is a great way to use pumpkin, my fall favorite, in something other than a dessert.

    Recipe #76626

I ate a similar dish at Trudy's, a restaurant in Austin. We really loved this dish. It's spicy and has two of my favorite ingredients, cilantro and avocado.

    Recipe #76558

My grandmother's gentleman friend used to cook this for me quite often and I really loved it! The sweetness of the cabbage is wonderful. This is also a low cost vegetarian meal. Grill or broil a meat for a balanced supper.

    Recipe #76360

Most of us eat these at the fair but it is also an Afghanistan dessert sometimes served at a dastarkhan, literally 'tablecloth', the enormous meal served to family and guests on special occasions. The American version usually does not have cardamom and pistachio as part of the ingredient list.

    Recipe #74264

Another 'made from scratch' family favorite. The hardest part is cutting all of the tomatoes! I like to use Roma but any tomatoe you like will do. The half and half really adds great texture to the soup so don't cheat and add skim milk or other low fat milk. It will really take away from the great taste of the soup. The touch of cloves adds a special taste that will not be missed. A must have in this soup!

    Recipe #74263

This recipe is a potluck favorite. I like it better than the usual recipes I find that use creamed soups. They do not compare to this version! It takes some time to prepare so give yourself at least an hour for that but it is well worth it for a special meal or potluck. You make this recipe once and you will never make it the 'quick' way again.

    Recipe #74262

I enhanced this recipe from one I found on the South Beach diet web site. The apple included balances out the carbs and protein nicely but if you are on the Adkins diet simply omit the apple or substitue a lower carb fruit. This tastes very creamy and it's so guilt free!

    Recipe #71731

Wonderfully easy dish that tasted great. I'm not a ham fan but my family is. The ham actually gave the dish a great flavor along with the addition of beef broth in the last few minutes of cooking.

    Recipe #59170

Afghani dish that took some time to make but was well worth it. The combination of cumin and cardamom was new and wonderful and the addition of carrots and raisins made the meal tasty and unique.
