This is absolutely "THE BEST" frosting in the world... It's an old fashioned recipe that my gram used for years on all her homemade cakes including Wacky, Spice, and her Raisin Cakes. It has been a favorite of my family for over 50 years, and will be passed down to my grandaughter(s), when and if I have some :) I lost this recipe at one point and was frantic, but found it again rummaging through my cookbooks... I was SO HAPPY!!! Try this one and see why... Enjoy!

    Recipe #218589

My friend Dawn sent me this recipe to try, and I did... It's like a pumpkiny custard on the bottom and crumb topping on top, and loaded with nuts. It's just plain WONDERFUL! Great anytime, but also for the holidays, and a lot easier and quicker than making a pie :D I made this for the Cake-A-Thon to honor Chef-I-Am October 2007. I know she would have loved this cake :) Here's to you Tina!

    Recipe #218584

So simple to make and so YUMMY... I LOVE this pie. It's been in my recipe collection for over 18 years... One of my favorites! Enjoy!

    Recipe #218582

I made this pie in my home economics class, in high school back in 1969. It was one of the first desserts I ever tried making. Everyone was very impressed with the results especially my teacher :) I got an A! I have been making this pie for years... It is a wonderful dessert to make when company is coming, and adds color to any holiday table! Enjoy!

    Recipe #218578

My gram used to make this all the time for us... This old fashioned recipe is easy to make, and it is so YUMMY, you won't make it just once! A MUST TRY! Top it with whipped cream for an even yummier treat!

    Recipe #218573

Another little experiment of mine that I really enjoyed! If you like kielbasa this is one you won't want to miss!

    Recipe #218571

Oh Man, are these GOOD! Takes a little time to make them, but they are worth the time and effort... DELISH!

    Recipe #218567

Macaroni Salad is always good, especially in the summer with meats and fish cooked on the grill... This recipe is one with lots of flavor, and a little different than your average Macaroni Salad... It gets RAVE REVIEWS from all who try it! Why don't YOU!

    Recipe #218564

This favorite comfort food is an OUTSTANDING recipe for Mac N Cheese. Rich, creamy and custardy, this amazing delight is "THE BEST" Macaroni And Cheese I have ever had the pleasure of tasting... Try it, it will become your FAVORITE too!!! Please Note: The Louisiana and Crystal hot sauce just adds flavor, and is not hot in flavor like Tabasco. I put a little twist on this recipe and made it, adding in a can of Ro-tel tomatoes with mild green chilies. It was GREAT! I just posted some pictures

    Recipe #218563

You haven't had ribs till you try these!

    Recipe #218562

These buttery melt-in-your mouth cookies will be a real hit for the holidays. Great for a cookie exchange too!

    Recipe #218438

One of the members of my cooking and recipes group made this great soup for one of our events... I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted this, and it actually tasted like pizza! It is REALLY GOOD!

    Recipe #218346

I love this recipe, especially on those chilly autumn and winter nights. If you enjoy chowders, then this is one you definitely want to try! Mmm Good! I love mine with oyster crackers, and a BIG dill or sour pickle.

    Recipe #218345

This is delicious on a cold winter or fall day! If thickened, this is great in a bread bowl. I love mine with oyster crackers on top, and a BIG dill or sour pickle on the side! You can add 2 cans cream style corn too, as I did in the pictures I posted for another delicious chowder variation! If you cook ahead and give chowder a chance to sit in the fridge, the flavors will meld and it is even more AWESOME the 2nd day! I often use Fat Free Half And Half in place of the whole milk, and its great too. NOTE: This chowder makes lots of delicious thin milky, buttery broth, which is traditional in New England style chowders. If you make changes to the amounts of milk, butter, etc. it will not taste as rich and delicious, and changes the recipe.

    Recipe #218341

I love this recipe, especially in the winter when it's cold outside... I always have mine with some oyster crackers floating on top, and a lg. dill or sour pickle on the side! If you love chowders, then this one will "Hit The Spot"! If thickened, this is wonderful in a bread bowl too.

    Recipe #218343

Great for baby and bridal showers, graduations, or any other type of party or family get together. GREAT for weddings too! You can double or triple this recipe, and it works fine. The yield on this recipe depends on how full you stuff the rolls, and how big the rolls are. Try some of my other delicious sandwiches: Recipe #52284 Recipe #234542 Recipe #52286

    Recipe #218337

My gram used to cook all her greens this way, and it is just plain delicious!

    Recipe #218155

Quick and easy to prepare, even the kids love this one, because it's YUMMY! This recipe will have you going back for a 2nd helping for sure... LOL It's ADDICTING!

    Recipe #218055

I created this recipe today, and am so glad I did. I have a couple of similar recipes, but wanted to try something just a little different... This came out really tasty, with a great seafood and lemony flavor. I will definately be making this again, and SOON! YUM!

    Recipe #217891

OMG.. These are like heaven in your mouth! Talk about great taste sensations... I made these for one of my cooking and recipe events that I hold monthly, and these were a HUGE hit... A must try for sure! You can use low fat cream cheese to make these lighter if you like. You can also dip the ends with any kind of finely chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, sprinkles, or dip the ends in chocolate or drizzle with chocolate. You might even try adding some cocoa powder to the cream cheese and make it a chocolate filling. The sky is the limit here, just use your imagination!
