This quick and easy dish is a meal in itself. I serve this quite often during the fall and winter months.

    Recipe #272585

This is a delicious snack cake. It freezes well and packs well - great for lunch boxes, road trips or picnics. The recipe states to bake it in a 9" square pan, but an 11x7" baking dish works just as well.

    Recipe #272501

This is a wonderful chicken recipe that is so easy to make. If you pound your chicken to an even thickness (about 1/2") the times should be pretty accurate. Sometimes I make extra to have the next day - chopped over a bed of mixed greens, toasted walnuts & a raspberry vinaigrette.

    Recipe #272424

This cake is perfect for fall. As it bakes, the aroma fills the house with a spicy scent.

    Recipe #272421

I made this cake for my pineapple-loving DH's birthday a couple of years ago and it was a hit. It reminded me of the cakes my Granny and Aunt Joyce used to make when I was growing up - which means it was good!

    Recipe #272420

I first made this turkey for Thanksgiving in 2001. It was the best turkey I had ever had, and I have never been tempted to use another recipe since. It is worth the extra work involved. **Note** Prep and cook time do not include brining time.

    Recipe #272414

This is a great recipe for fresh summer peaches! Freezes well and makes a great quick breakfast, lunch box snack, etc. Fresh peaches make all the difference in flavor - if fresh isn't available, try frozen. I substitute freshly ground whole grain flour for the all-purpose. **PLEASE NOTE**. If you substitute store-bought wheat flour for the all-purpose, you do not need to add the additional amount of flour - just use the same amount as all-purpose.

    Recipe #272410

One of my favorite parts of summer is the peaches. With family in The Peach State, I've got connections and get them straight from the packing shed and love to use them on recipes like these ! Served warm with ice cream or cold from the fridge, this dessert is great.

    Recipe #272408

This is a good, quick vegetarian main dish, or I have served it as a side dish along-side grilled chicken as well. You could even brown and season some cut-up chicken breasts or seafood and toss them in to make it a one-dish meal. It's a pretty basic recipe where fresh vegetables are the star of the show - adjust and add seasonings to your family's tastes. Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese instead of the powdery kind you by in a jar - it makes a world of difference!

    Recipe #272354

Two types of seafood and a flavorful sauce make these enchiladas very popular around our house! Spice up the recipe to your taste by adding more green chilies and salsa.

    Recipe #272350

My DH really enjoys this pie. Well, we all do, but it combines two of his favorite things - apple pie and coconut. He especially likes it warmed up with ice cream on top. This pie freezes well also.

    Recipe #272327

We love coconut, so when I saw this recipe I had to try it. It's a deliciously different apple cobbler. (It freezes well, too).

    Recipe #272323

This is a favorite potluck dessert of mine because it makes a large, scrumptious, moist cake and I never come home with any leftovers. I do, however come home with many requests for the recipe. I usually only make it when I need to take something somewhere to share as it is dangerous for me to make it just for us...... (I can't leave it alone).

    Recipe #272313

This dish gets five stars by my family - and the neighbors who came to dinner the night I first made it!

    Recipe #272312

This crisp gets rich flavor from a butterscotch pudding mix. It's a popular treat in our home.

    Recipe #272310

I do prefer fresh ingredients, bu tin a pinch, this salsa is quick and easy to prepare with pantry staples.

    Recipe #272301

The ABC is for the Apples, Blueberries and Cranberries. My family loves fruity desserts like this one. It cooks completely on the stovetop - no need to heat up your oven!

    Recipe #272298

This was one of the first recipes I made as a newlywed (a long time ago). I still have it so it must be good!

    Recipe #272242

Super fast and easy recipe - perfect for those days when we've been running around from here to there with various activities and I want a good, quick meal on the table. I often toss in some frozen red pepper/green pepper/onion blend instead of the fresh red pepper as I always have it in the freezer and may or may not have fresh red pepper depending on the current price at the store. I serve it over rice that I pre-set in my rice cooker earlier in the day to be ready at the same time this dish is.

    Recipe #272239

A tasty recipe that we enjoy. (I often make large batches of meatballs and freeze them to use in recipes such as this - a real time saver!) This meal cooks in one skillet, minimizing clean-up - who can't appreciate that?!
