Many years ago, I found this recipe in a local ladies recipe booklet called, "Cornsilk." I have often used it to take to friends and family so they can reheat it and serve when needed. It freezes well, too. I try to use a brisket but does well with a boneless beef roast or bottom round roast. Serve with hamburger buns.
I found this recipe in a family cookbook put together for a bridal shower. I love the fact that I can put the omelet to bake in the oven while I make other ingredients, such as #8602 Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, on the stove. With the addition of fresh fruit, the combination was a huge hit with visiting company.

This is a very rich, delicious recipe that my sister gave me many years ago. If you love green olives, as I do, you will enjoy this filling and tasty recipe. I don't know where my sister found the recipe originally. She lives alone and I know it is one she makes often and freezes up portions for herself to have again later. Hope you enjoy it!
This is an original chicken recipe by my brother-in-law, Jim. He is a gourmet cook and this dish is one of his specialities. It makes a wonderful main dish for company. I like to get all the ingredients ready the night before and put together the next morning. It sounds like a lot of steps but it is really easy to put together and worth the effort. I'm not sure of the time it takes to prepare but at least a half hour.
I found this recipe in a cookbook many, many years ago and have been using it ever since. It is easy and quick to prepare and is best served warm, but gets eaten readily hot or cold. A nice dollop of ice cream on the side is always good, too.
